hey Ganja85, it really depends on where you are at and local/state/fed focus on that sort of thing whether you need to be overly concerned about it...in Colorado there may be medicinal providers running multi thouie HID's in resi homes that have remained under the radar for years-regardless it is prudent to be careful so first off check your usage historicals through the local provider & manage your usage increases accordingly...any electric appliance comes with wattage/usage amounts - figure yours out and reduce where you can....easiest strategy is to camo your usage and with two 600's it's pretty easy if you're willing to put in some extra work; stop using hair dryers in the summer, put a sweater on in the winter, shut off the dry cycle on the dish washer, hang your clothes on a line to dry & the difference between where you are at now and running 1200w at 12 by 7 will be minimal...another albeit potentially cost prohibitive option is to look to high usage appliances visible from the outside like window AC's, hot tubs etc. don't use them but have them - calc their usage & determine the difference in your increase. this wouldn't pass any more then the look/logical test if the jackboots want to kick your door in but any edge you can create on a probable cause defense helps -
