13 leaves.....???

Hi, I'm a first time hydro grower with a small setup in the closet. I'm waiting for the entire cycle of my harvest before posting the journal but I am definitely taking pictures along the way. I'm in the 1st week of flowering now. Anyway, my question was that I knew plants could grow up to 9 leaf sets, then discovered a few mine have developed 11! I was wondering if it was possible for the cannabis plant to have 13 leaf sets? If anyone knows off hand please feel free to enlighten me. Thanks!

ya its entirly possible,u can even but rarely get 15,17,19,and the most rare is a 21 blade leaf, the larger number sets are geneticly from the ancient times when the sun wasnt as strong so it threw larger sets of blades to capture as much minimal energy that there was. today its completely rare to get a huge number set of blades.

where are you getting this info from. Most Ive seen is 11, and that is pretty rare. I always assumed that was the most it could get. DO you have a picture or a link or something?

no but remember your history when everything grew larger to capture more sunlight?

ive read about the 21set like 6-7years ago,i dont know where but ya everything grew to monsterous proportions,and the 21 was mainly sativa

All I found were othere people on other weed forums stating that there are 15 and 17 fingered leaves, I couldnt find any pics though...so I guess they could be full of shit. The most I could find a pic of was 13
