14/10 after veg anyone??

so im about to enter into Flowering mode.. and im sure ive read someting about 14/10 after the veg cycle then after 1 or 2weeks change it to the normal 12/12?? anyone?? or is just a myth or idk,,. what dif does it makes thx.

never herd of that my self but i have herd leaving them in darkness for 6hours befor turning the flowering lights on. idk though someone els prob has herd im interested lol

Thats a hard question to answer, and varies greatly by grower.
In nature it happens gradually as the seasons progress.
I think the plant just takes it as a signal, and as soon as it realizes so it begins to flower.
It flowers at its own rate regardless once it starts.

If you go 0,3,6,8,10,12, Off, then On time it's less confusing. So your coming from 6/18? Then to 10/12 is quite acceptable, If your using Florescents, you may not need to go to 12/12 at all.
