It has been 14 weeks since I switched my girls into flowering. They had preflowers already. They were vegged and flowered under a 430 Son Argo HPS. They have about 25% red hairs. Most of the trichomes are clear and cloudy. Is there any reason why these could be going this long. Also is there any ways in making the bud mature faster. The buds are huge and I still see lots of new growth. Hairs are not receeding. I have no recent pics within the last 3-4 weeks but these pictures are from about a month ago.

Are you disturbing the dark period in any way?

No clue on the strain. They are sativa Im pretty sure. I had a more of an indica one that I started to harvest a couple weeks ago and harvest the bottom canopy last week,Yeah I figured It could be something I did. I was told to flush them around 10 weeks and I did. One of them was ready to harvest but I knew that I had flushed too early soo I fed them again with more nutes. When I flushed them it seem growth stopped on a couple of them. Since I fed them nutes again about 3 weeks ago I have seen lots of new growth. I gave them another dose of nutes about a week ago. I using 3 part GH Flora series with floralicious plus and Liquid Koolbloom on the side. I was thinking of giving them some calmag because there is a lot of dead leaves even on some new growth and thought maybe some more magnesium might help. I will maybe get a couple pictures tonight. On two of them they are branching out at the top for some reason forming new colas. This is my first grow and I just want these 3 to be done so I can put some more in there.

Been flushing? Also, Whats the soils PH? Should use PH up for the last few weeks. But, As Hiesman said... It could just be your strain. Peace

I flushed about 4-5 weeks ago waited 2 weeks after flush and fed them more nutes. I am probably just gonna cut them 2 weeks tops. Off the 3 I have I would say around a QP when dried. The one plant is all one bud and is about 2 feet long almost with a 4 inch diameter:bigjoint:

yea they are very nice... sativas finish off slow. but hey sativa buds are nearly always worth the wait. When those pistils get all nice n colored i would chop. very good job.

This could be why. My flowering room isnt as closed off as I could have it. There is an opening at the bottom of my plastic wall I put together closed off by velcro. But I never thought it was that big of deal since there is only a couple of t5s on the other side of the plastic and the light is not facing the plastic door.

the light leak is your problem for sure.... it takes only a 30 watt bulb on 24 hours a day to maintain veg state....the light leak will AT LEAST make the plant stretch and in most cases can cause a herm..and other issues.

seal that puppy up ....you need to have your room as dark as possible... dark as a dark night outside with little or no moon light.... if you can see the plants at all its way to much light..

.if you need light to work use a cheap green bulb from home depot in a shop light ...

most strains flower in 8 - 10 weeks ... some a s early as six some as late as twelve weeks but at 14 weeks you should be way finished ....seal up that light leak... give it a week or so and chop em..

OR on the other crop may have already been affected beyond repair maybe you wanna harvest ,cut your loses and move this one out of the way for the next one.. and seal up that light leak..

from the looks of your pics you will have some decent smoke but if you keep light stressing the plants they are bound to freak out and morph on ya...and pollinate the whole house .

good luck

Yeah its a definitly a beauty of a sativa. I use Indica's for indoors, I couldnt sit and watch that beast! I wouldve given it the chop by now, Considering i only get what i grow and and shitty bush weed in my area :-( I bet you cant wait to chop that beast of a huge SOG plant pretty much :bigjoint:

i have an indica that has been flowering for 15 weeks all pistols are a rusty orange colour an have not receeded into buds all the leaves are purple i was told is was blueberry but the buds are not purple just all the leaves i think it has a bit of both indica/sativa its only about a meter tall its completly light proof ph is 6.5/6.7 its in biobizz all mix soil an used all bio bizz range top max bloom alg-mic fish mix etc light is 600 hps sunmaster bulb with a jumbo 300w red cfl 8u the trichs are just milky an the cola does not look as if its gonna get any bigger been the same size for the last 4 weeks have started flushing so we will see if it packs on any weight the only thing i could thing is that it was the cold humidity is about 50% lights off an 35-40% on an temp is 8 degrees which i think is about 18-20 farenhieght an lights on is about 22-25 degrees celcius i think is around 75 degrees farenhieght i think the cold has put them in a state of suspended animation who knows

Going back to my original comment. The ligh leaks might be delaying things. Some Kush's take 14 weeks. You may have one. Who know. I would not cut her early. You've gone this long. Make sure she's ripe dude. She looks amaizing.

Those pics were from a month ago. They have just gotten bigger. Most hairs are still white. The growth has never stopped soo I dont know how much stress they are being put through. I just want them to be mature. The topped one has buds the size of a Major League baseball and cannot hold its own weight anymore. I have White Widow and Wonder Woman in flowering with them right now and have more to put in there once these are done.
I will be waiting for them to finish. I will not be cutting early.
