um how small... "most" people will say 2-3 because generally its 10,000 lumens per plant for super ideal conditions,, but it really depends on how small they are...

i think a 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 ft scrog would be a great option... 4 plants maybe? you could use less if you wanted too... just more training and longer veg time with few plants to fill a scrog....

or you could hang the lamp vertically and make a vertical scrog... a circular cage around the bulb (with i'd say an 15 in diameter) and about 2 ft tall you could have like five plants around it and train them sideways and up the circular screen...

that'd be the best way to yeild off the 150... my opinion atleast...

tall thin square pots lollipop maybe 3x3 plants in a 1.5'1.5' space, thats 9 colas in a 2.25 sq ft area could probably even do 16 plants in 4' width pots. No need for penetration at all and you could keep it in a short space as well depending on your situation.

I have a 150w hps on 3 plants and 2 seedlings. My biggest mistake was putting those plants into big pots way too early... I can't scoot the pots close enough to get the maximum use out of the light. But still, it rules. 150w HPS is so nice, and it doesn't even budge your electric bill!

i think that would push it a little,,,
not true i have a 150 hps it depends on how much light penetrates the plant, how reflective the surfaces are,how the growing conditions are, how good the soil is, its not all about the light cus if u have good reflective surfaces u could pull it off!

below is a pic of a 150watt tiny bubble system with 6 plants!!!
