BMO Organic nutes
Flower Power
Grow it Green
Super Plant Tonic

*slack soil mix*
2 gallons Miracle Grow Organic Choice
1 gallon Organic Mushroom Compost
1 gallon home made compost
16 oz. Espoma Organic Tomato-Tone 3-4-6
32 oz. Perlite

*this soil mix was based on what i had available in my garden shed.

i was planning on adding 2-3 Jiffy clones every 2 weeks, vegging for about one week until they are 3-4' tall, transplanting into 32oz. clear (i know, i know) bottles.

feeding schedule is loosely based on oHsogreen's BMO schedule with a chaos mathematics flair.

the larger LST plant was one of the mothers. i had heat issues with my old cab, a CFL filing cabinet size box, so i put her outside to flower while I built my present cabinet. i finished the cab and moved her in immediately. we had some abnormally high temps the week she was outside and my soil may be too hot, so she was burned pretty bad but has made a decent recovery.

my oldest clones went to flower on 10/5 and i expect to flower near the end of december. I have two other groups of clones staggered bi-weekly and once the ex-mother finishes then i will get back on track with cloning again.

i was thinking that i have a lot of leafy veg growth and was planning on trimming some of the lower junk. i have very little exprience growing plants this small (my tallest plant is only 10 inches) so this is new territory for me.

any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanks howhigh.

i agree, BMO is the deal. i have some peppers and other stuff growing in 32oz. hempy cups and the growth rates, general health and yields are amazing.

i have yet to find a rhythm with BMO and my MJ but i feel i am slowly getting there. its been a difficult grow and not one that i would have chosen but i was given a clone to nurse back to health a few months ago and this is what it has lead to. i thought i would try a perp sog then a two plant scrog next, to compare yields without changing any of the other factors.

i need to work out all the kinks first before even can think that far ahead though.:wall:

Cool, so am I. I just put a wide leafed pheno and a particular pheno that has hairy stems and resinous pre flowers under 12/12. Have you seen this in any of your jacks?

No hairs on my stems at all. I have had some resinous pre-flowers on some of the older clones though.

I've been following your grow since september and that blue dream made me drool. Can't wait to see the difference between the two Jacks you got.

Here is a pic that I just took....makes my mouth drool.

Howdy,

Simple fix to your clear bottle problems. Place them into black plastic bags and rubberband them snug. Still allows you to check roots, while eliminating some of the light penetration. I think you could more easily get away with a good soil and pure water than trying to judge when and what plants need what and when. Your "rythem" for feeding seems tough to pin down and I would contribute that to the ever changing needs of the different staged plants. Check out the soil called ROOTS. here is the first link that popped up when I googled: http://www.horticulturesource.com/product_info.php?products_id=2545

I also agree SCROG is a better way to get an equal or better harvest. I also like to think that having less root systems means less numbers of things that could go wrong.

Hows the smoke?

P.S. Good job making it work!

Thanks for the input woodsmantoker, I have yet to harvest my Jack Herer. I am scheduled to start flushing the first week of December and the earliest I expect to smoke it would be Christmas. I usually cure for an entire month but necessity dictates that I break the rules this time. My buddies grow, where I got my clones from, is a very spicy smoke. He doesn't do organic or cure for more than two weeks, it will nice to do a compare and contrast between his and mine.

So in order to establish a rhythm with my nutes I started using iCal, a calendar app for Macs, and it makes it so much easier. In my grow cab I have over a dozen plants at 5 different nute stages all numbered and color coded for easy reference. All details will make subsequent grows/reveging more efficient. I hope to get up to 30 plants going at once with five groups of six clones per group staggered every two weeks.

That Roots grow medium looks great but out of my budget until the Holidays are over. Family first, right?

Thanks again for all the great advice and I hope you have a great one tomorrow.

peace.

Nice pheno choice to keep! I would bet that the hairy stem pheno will be more pest resistent and could make a good choice for an outdoor run. Any traits that contribute to the effort of keeping pests at bay is a good one in my book!:leaf:

I got to thinking about your grow just before I went to sleep last night and thought I should share with you a bit more information. Not to persuade you away from what your doing, "I think your doing very well", but to give you some more ideas that could possibly help you in the future. Name of the game here right?!~

This link is Subcools (TGA seeds breeder) super soil. It surely made wheels turn in my head. Hope it does the same for you.

P.S. I make my own soil with fish meal, guano, kelp, and nitrogen rich river delta mud that is all harvested by my wife and I. I dont use "ferts"
... Dont need them. Gotta luv it when an A+ breeder shows you that he does the same with retail products.:blsmoke:
