No need to overcomplicate things, your LEDs are too lose to your plants and are suffering from light stress. You just need to raise your lights up to about 2.5ft and that should solve the problem.

thanks for the replies guys. Maybe it's both.
I've read that the LED grows often need more cal / mag than cfl or hps grows.

But i think 17 days would be little early?
Anyway, gonna buy some calmag+

The LED is only around 1ft (30cm) away from the plants

I'm going to make the cabinet taller. The height atm is 80cm (2ft 71/2in)
I will cut off the top and make it higher. around 160cm

Again, thank you :)

I use 300watt LEDs also, I use 1 during Veg and 2 during Flower for 1 plant. I keep them about 1- 1 1/2 ft away. I am just giving advice from my experience.

it is 1 ft away from the pot right now, but it does not work so well apparently
I will build my closet and try out different heights.

Do u ever had mag def? do u use calmag+?

my last grow i used 125w cfl, same soil, nutes, pot size and strain but no deficiencys

thank you for sharing your experience.

I grow Hydro, I did have mag deficiency during my first grow, Haven't had it since I started using calmag. I now add calmag to my res from the start of nutes. I did foliar spray when I first had the deficiency. It absorbs quicker via the leaves while lights are on. It has a low ppm so you don't need to reduce the other nutes.

What LED light are you using? Got a link?

These are the ones I have. I actually have 4 but haven't set up my tent due to space.

My buds are dense and fat @ harvest.

Are you able to run the LED with Veg and Flower mode @ the same time? If so try it. Also add a few CFLs to supplement light.
