18/6 vs. 20/4 in DWC

Has anyone tried both 18/6 and 20/4 in veg state in DWC? If so which faired better 18/6 or 20/4?

I've tried 24/0 in a DWC. I'm doing a soil grow now, and this is my second grow. I'm vegging 20/4. I prefer the 20/4, but only because it gives the light a break. I can't really say anything about results yet.

EDIT: K I'm way off today. I meant to say I prefer the 20/4 : ) I need to stop smoking lol

Root growth is more prolific during darkness. Giving your plants a "rest" is good, and so is letting your equipment; lights, fans, etc. a break is good for the electric bill. I prefer 18/6, but that's just my $0.02.

i prefer 18/6 as well for the same reasons as johnny

dark time is when roots grow too so i never clone on 24/0

i go 48 hours light, then 18/6 with my clones.

Well in this financial crisis I'll take your $0.02 any day : )
