Whats up RIO, I am the main grower for FAF(fire as fuck) extracts and Globlins. Used to grow for Waxy Willy (nuthin but nectar extracts). I use TGA super soil mix with Humboldt county's own nutrients and compost teas/top feeds. I have won a few awards doing so, My nugs are amazing, I take it to shops in my area and they love me and some pay 3k per pack. my yield on the other hand is not as much as i would like, on my og's i pull 175g per plant, on my sensi stars i pull 235g per plant, 4 plants per 1k hps. I know i can be doing better so i went to see a crazy russian buddy who runs advanced nutrients and gets 400g per plant 4 per 1k light ON HIS OG'S! Not just any og, but the REAL hardcore og that sell's in Hollywood for 50 a 1/8th. We had a sesh, he gave me his formula and told me to feel free to call him anytime if i had questions.
This journal is only going to focus on THE ADVANCED NUTRIENTS GROW and not my soil grows. (sorry just don't have the time) So lets get on to what i bought, keep in mind i got all this for $1484.89, alot less then i thought it was going to be, but im sure something will pop up to set me back another $500 lol.
18 titan flo-n-grow 3gallon nets, 4gallon pots
18 360 mesh inserts
oceanus one controller
55gallon res
44gallon trash can (back res because my ro is slow)
a bunch of tubing
5 bags ready gro
2 maxijet 1200 pumps
Now on to nutrients
10 liters of Ph perfect Micro, Grow, and Bloom.
4 liters of Bud Candy and B - 52
2 liters of Big Bud coco, VooDoo Juice and Rhino Skin
1 liter of Overdrive, piranha, flawless finish.
and this a bit more than enough to get me past one cycle.
They are going to be veg'd in a room with 1k mh and 4 50 watt led panels and 2 180 watt led ufo's. flowered in my 15k flowering room with all my soil plants. I will get some pictures up soon of the vegging clones and the veg room. Right now the clones are in super soil inside solo cups getting water, im going to veg them out for a few more days until most of them are ready for the 3 gallon coco. I have 5 sensi stars and 13 amf og's for this trial run.
The main reason i wanted to start this guide is because i used to hate on advanced nutrients for their price and dilutions ratios. After seeing some of the results and price of the nutrients dropping a fair bit i decided to bite the bullet and do the switch. Please don't think im a advanced nutrients fanboy, i haven't used any of their products at the time of writing this nor do i work for them nor am i in any sort of sponsorship deal. Im still a supersoil guy until i can produce better through other methods. I just want to show you guys my results and maybe help you deiced if advanced nutrients will work for you before going out and spending the extrta $$$.
