SOoooooo here I go again....got a lot of space this time :) about fucking time....anways...going to do three 1000ws on rails....dont know how many plants yet... definetly doing them in 18 gal totes with FF soil...amended heavy with perilite to help drainage....got a nice line of nutes ill snap some pics tomorrow...havent figured what im gonna be running this time around...I wish I woulda cloned some of that purp i grew last round it is strait cotton candy.....oooooohhh eeeeee anyways....ill keep this as updated as possible kinda bogged down with school....

Im reallllly open to input I wana get as many ideas threw my brain as possible to get the best one im not to sure if i realy like my light rail idea...ther must ne an easier way to cut costs on power....possibly running each light for different intervals? Has anyone had experience with this?

Well I WOULD REALLY appreciate INPUT!

Take care happy growing!

Your yield will be a lot higher if you get away from floros. They work, but not as good as other methods. You got a good timer, and a pitch black night time for them? Keep the temp and humidity good you should be strait. REMEMBER, K.I.S.S. keep it simple and stupid

......thank you.....but i was looking for some serious input...Im gonna be running 3 1000W on lightrail movers.....wanted to set up some drainage for this area.....that much water goin thru the soil and back intp the environment is no bueno....anyone got some experience? Ive been looking around but cant seem to find what i need in terms of plans....I wanted to build 3 seperate tables allowing drainage for each se[erate table ...kinda wanted to drain into 18 gall tote so i coukd remove the excess water collection to avoid humidity problems during late flower when I REALLLY blast with water

So gimme some specs here. Amount of plants, length of light rails, size of containers, etc.

Also, im assuming your draining to waste? If so, do you plan on running a line directly to a bath tub (or outside, or toilet, or whatever), OR into a tote which you will then manually empty or pump out?

I would reccomdend building your own drain tables for a few reasons. Obviously you will save on cost. More importantly though the biggest trays i have seen that are manufactured are 4x8. Because you are using light rails i would assume each light has a much bigger footprint than 4x8. Probably more like 4x16 or something. You said you only wanted 3 trays so i dont see any other way to do it.

After we have decided more specifically what we need then we can talk about heighth, construction, and plumbing.

Just some thing to think about.

Oh, one last thing. May i suggest just using water catchers that do not drain but rather just contain runoff under your pots and a dehumidifier? May be easier than building some crazy custom trays with plumbing that will get clogged everyday from soil?

Just read your post headn to see avatar...didnt wana respond with some bunk BUTTT

30 plants.

18 Gallon totes for soil

8 ft ceilings.

The only way to go is custom tables....I am going to maximize every dollar i spend. (after doing a few runs I am trying to reallllly minimize the dollar which in return helps my patients)

4X16 is right....

Got the de humidifier BUT the only issue is that is consumes freakin 600w of power......dont get me wrong...its amazing and its plumed for everything buuuut im trying to eliminate sucking power....I already have to have my electrician friend come out and wire us up....we are on freaking fuse boxes hahahaha anyways...

I had in mind a very slight angle within the tables to encourage drainage to the center perhaps....then cut a hole in the pond liner used to line the trays and insert a 2" thick PVC drain hole to an 5gallon bucket....sooo roughly my trays will sit 1' off the ground...thus leaving me with 7 feet to work with.....2ft to hang lights..... soo 5 ft tall ladies is what im thinking....topping....one plants per 18gallon FF ocean forest ammended heavily to help drainage....

jsut had an idea....grates over the angle so there is an even canopy there would be an inner rack so to speak that the grates sit on and below that the angle to drainage

Ill get the drawings i ahve together and get em up here....

I plan on building 2 walls and framing the rest so i can mount easily etc.....
