Alright, here goes my first journal. Im on the east coast so have always been paranoid about posting online in a non mj friendly state, but decided it might be a good way to get advice along to way. Im open to all ideas. Ive been following along other people's for a while now which convinced me to start my own.

Im doing hydro with Advanced Nutes stuff. 1k watt scrog. Ive only been growing for 3 years at my old place, but was able to upgrade when I moved to a real spot.

Im on my first day of flowering Cheese Bomb from Bomb Seeds http://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/products/bomb-cheese-bomb. I have room in my flowering spot, so im going to try to expand out and flower the mango when i work out how Im going to do the layout. I grew it at my previous place scrog and turned out pretty well.

So onto the pictures. I had a custom door built for the room, and built a wall around it. Im having some problems with sound because I want it to be totally stealth, so i got a strip door that helps but isnt perfect. I mounted a fan on the wall thats also giving me sound problems, so I added an extra 1/2 in dry wall and glued it on using acoustial caulk. I also caulked all the gaps in the room facing the side people will be. Im exhausting through the vent, and I have a passive intake with the other side of the vent I opened up that pulls air from the floor above. Not ideal, but works for now.

Idealy I would like to exhaust outdoor through the window I applied black and white poly over, but I dont know how I could do that inconspicuously. I need to make everything impossible to detect upon inspection due my state. Im thinking about bricking up the wall and exhausting through a dryer vent, but am unable to locate that type of brick. Maybe someone here would know where I can find it.

For Veg: The soil plant on the right is Mango KC Brains I had been planning to be a bonsai mom before I moved, but now since I have so much room Im going to flower it once I get it to size and figure how to lay it out well. I also just started to veg 3 free fems I got with my order. Arjans Strawberry Haze, Blue Widow, and Kushage. In the 8 cloning res I just started cloning the cheese bomb and just started to show roots.


For Flower: 1k HPS cheese bomb. Just started yesterday, going advanced nutes A & B, Just trying out bud candy and big bud this time around to see if it will make a diff. No charcoal filter yet, but Im ready once it starts to smell. Just worried about how much it will choke off my airflow.

Its a modified DWC, I followed rosemans bubbleman thread with the water pump bringing water to the roots above, hoping this also has some waterfall effect creating more DO. Id really like to move to RDWC but havnt found a nice tutorial yet in how to get it done.

I dont have any plant problems yet, though for some reason not all of the color is uniform dark green. Some of it is yellower than others though its growing rapidly. I'm going to do a res change from veg nutes and flowering today. Right now PPM has been around 700, 6.5 ph, 68deg.

800 ppm, res temp 68, 6.2 ph

things are coming along, but some of the growth is starting to concerning. I think it might be the beginning of light burn because it seems like its contained to the area, and growth under it is still nice and green. I moved the lights up and adjusted it down to 750w to see if if it helps. Let me know what you guys think

not to be a dick man... but i think you misse the point of a scrog, an i dont even do it that way... they look like some fat bushes though! + rep for no plant problems.. good job

you can stop by my grow thread in my signature anytime nd say whats up, ill subscribe,

my reccomendation would be, next time hve the screen lil closer, let te plant grow thru the screen about 4-6 inches, then tuck it back under to train.. trining is the key to SCROG... otherwise u just got a screen over ur bush bro =)

Lol yeah, I put the screen up too late, but with the screen I can atleast get a nice even canopy. I only just switced to veg. Its too late for me to bring it down now, but Ill have some massive plants at the end.

And im not convicned that I should be trimming the bottom. Ive seen some posts by UB and stuff saying it just takes energy away from the plant. I take any popcorn buds and make them into hash anyways.

Alright another update and need some help this time. One of the plants seems to be wilting. Not really sure why Ive done everything the same with these plants. The side with the water going to the net pot seems to be ok, so I repositioned f the water tubes going up to the left side where the problem seems to be occuring. The roots also seemed a bit dark, and kinda stinky. Anyone help with is? Never had something like this before.

Been fighting what i think is brown algae with h202 and nothing. Just tried some bushdoctor microbe brew, hopefully that will help. Take a look at the roots, the plant on the left def looks like it has problems. Let me know what everyone thinks. PH has been creeping up pretty rapidly, like .5 per day. Been adding alot of ph down too.
