1m x 1m x 2m grow tent with 400w hps

hi,

I'm doing my first ever grow, with seeds in a soil medium. Have researched into it a lot re soil, watering, lighting, temp etc but still have a few questions.

Looking to grow 4 plants, is 400w sufficient? I have read you need c. 75w/plant

I assume i will also need an extractor fan, will i also need a fan to bring fresh air in and also how many and what size fans will i need to keep the temp down??

Also is my tent going to stink with 4 plants? If so anything i can do to minimise

Darn, that's a lot of $$. Maybe you can device something - but yes, it will stink, if you're lucky enough to bring it to bloom.

- and just because you can't smell it, doesn't mean it doesn't stink. Everybody else can smell it.

- kind of smells good - just need to keep it controlled. Maybe ozone generator on the exhaust.

For a space that big I think you would need this:
- 400W is 1m²: 5-10 plants
- 600W is 1.5m²: 7-14 plants
- 1000W is 2m²: 15-20 plants
