i have 9 bagseed plants and the ph of the soil is 7.2 on 7 of them, 7.1 on one and 7.3 on the last one. they all have the same soil, same light schedule, and same watering schedule as they all use water at even amounts. they are only about a week and a half old so i have not started using nutes. my first question, is the ph too high?? i always heard that the optimal ph was between 6.5 and 6.8 i know that 7.3 isnt an outrageous amount over but in the event that it keeps rising, how do i bring it down?? iv heard that calcium is good for adjusting ph but does it raise it or lower it?? Question 2: at what age/height should i start using fertilizers and what NPK levels are best for veg growth?? (when i grow outside i just let nature run its course for the most part except when it gets really hot and dry then i add extra water) Thanks in advance for any advice. Happy growing and as always, stay smokey :leaf:

Calcium does not affect pH greatly. Coffee grounds mixed into the soil will acidify it. Not fresh ground coffee but coffee grounds.
