1st DWC

well im experimenting with hydroponics and im having a few problems.First of all i think i had my water level too high so i lowered it to were the bubbling water just barely touches the bottom of the rockwool.I am using IONIC "Grow" from growth technologies.I have started with about half of what the bottle says and i have ph'd it at 5.8.i am having problems with yellowing,do you think i should raise my ppm?? any suggestions will help.I know pics would help but at this very second i dont have a way to post pics.

I'm having the same prob I think it's the nutes because ur plants don't have have no filter ( soil) its hitting the plant hard no evidence but that's my conclusion flushing mine tonite and giving it straight ph'd water hopefully it will balance out but that's my two cents good luck

you want to keep your water at the bottom of your nett pott so the bubbles go up in the hydroton(or whatever your medium is)
i have a DWC with rock wool and one with just a plant in it both are just fine but one without rockwool is a little stronger..
make sure your airstone can push some good bubbles through there..just because you see it bubbling doesnt mean its good enough.. you want that stuff roarrrrring!!!
i have lowered my water in them because they are a little older and roots have reached the ground... when there soo young put a gallon of nutes in there than a gallon of just water..

well, i got rid of the yellowing,i have a few bowed leaves but the color is good.I pulled it completely out and reset it in the hyroton.I believe she may be in shock a little bit but im sure she will pull through.i just hope these bowed leaves are only a little shock.what do y'all think,im due for a res change tomorrow.
