1st Grow 216w T5 Fluoros Nirvana's Chrystal

Hey guys, first thread + first grow here! I will be growing Nirvana's Chrystal feminized (WW X NL) X NL#5

I chose Chrystal cause i wanted to grow something that had northern lights genetics and Chrystal looked pretty good for me. (I got the seeds from everyonedoesit, theyre pretty reliable)


Anyway, heres a recap:

I got my 5 seeds, I germed 4 of them as I wanted to grow 4 plants. When transplanting the germed seeds to my solo cups, i dropped one and it fell through the crack in my attic (my grow space). I was incredibly high when transplanting the seeds, something I will never do again . I also transplanted them in almost total darkness. So about 3 days later when they sprouted, I realized that in my incredibly high state I actually put 2 seeds in 1 cup (sounds like 2 girls one cup) right next to each other. Therefore, I had to take one out. In taking one out, I snapped the root by accident which was another newbie mistake and transplanted into the other cup. Yes, I am kind of clumsy (NOT stupid though, dont confuse the two ). Also, I germed another seed that day and its planted in a cup now but hasnt sprouted. So, there are 2 perfect seeds that sprouted, 1 seed with the torn root that actually has been growing which is good, and 1 seed that hasnt sprouted in the soil yet.

BTW: Has anyone else used Botanicare's power line nutes?

I'm using:
a 4 bulb t5 ballast
4 grow t5 bulbs (i will switch to bloom when flowering)
FFOF soil
Botanicare Power bloom & Power flower & Blast Off
superthrive
I have a grow tent coming in tomorrow which I will set up (3x3x6)
pk 13/14 for flowering stage
I might buy a some kind of led lighting system also


I think I included everything so far so I'm going to upload some pictures very very soon.


Temps are bad; about 92-93 with lights on, in the 80s with lights off, its in my attic im pretty concerned. hopefully when i get my tent and get a fan, itll get better.

1st+3rd pictures are of the good ones, the 2nd pic is the one with the cut root.

You shouldn't worry about the root as long as it was just like 1. I've done that before and have seen no problems. They bouce back pretty well so you'll be okay.

Here are some pics of my new grow space since my tent arrived, im pretty happy with the tent so far. plants havent grown that much since last pictures so I only took a pic of my grow space. feel free to post guys, peace.

I also got 10x Mandala's Satori seeds, I dont know if I'm going to start them now or wait until a later grow cause they will get here probably in a week or something and theyll be far behind the chrystals. (I only have one grow area) I might just sog+lst them while just lsting the chrystals.

Also going to add a led light in flowering as i think its pretty necessary. was thinking of a 90w UFO

UPDATE: Hey again, I moved the plants way closer to the lights and it seems to really be helping. Now its really taking off with vegging. There are 2 plants left, the one seed did not sprout, and the one with the cut root wasnt showing any progress so I tossed them.

So now, we are left with 2 plants and i have 10 satori seeds coming in. I am planning to germ 5 of them to have about 2-3 more females. I will lst every plant and i am going to get a 90w UFO. Ill upload pics tomorrow

Right now, for feeds I have Botanicare Blast Off, Botanicare Power Bloom, and superthrive in.

Update: Im just going to lst the original 2 plants and take some clones off them. Don't think im going to get a ufo unless someone here convinces me to haha.

Update: Plants are doing well, I'm not buying a led light or growing the satori. I will make 8 clones from the 2 mothers and flower all 10 plants when it comes time. I am lsting the two mothers and sogging the rest. Here are some pics

Any recomendations on when to start LST'ing? How many nodes. I plan to do it according to the 4 way tutorial on rollitup

Things are going well, temps in mid 90s but plants dont seem to mind

BTW: Plants were burned when placed too close to lights, thats what the yellow spots are

So far, Nirvana's chrystal has been very easy to grow, it can handle hot temps and is not sensitive to nutes at all.
