Just finished my first organic grow of some GDP (Granddaddy Purple). I got the clones from a local dispensary and cut most around 7.5 weeks. I used a 1000w super hps, ocean forest soil with earthbox containers (2 plants per box), 2.5 cups of happy frog 5-5-5 at the beginning and never fertilized again. Also, 90% of the water used was from rain, the rest was spring water bought at the store. Taste is great, the high is amazing, but I think my production is somewhat low. Haven't weiged it, but been smoking the hell of it and have 9 full 32oz jars full of the trimmed buds. Maybe I need to add CO2 for next crop.....
I have been smoking for 15 years now and being my first ever medical grow (I grew a 2-3 plants before years ago for fun), my goal was quality over quantity. I am probably biased, but I think my gdp is MUCH better than the 3 (1/8's) bottles of it I bought at the dispensary. Maybe they just sell the crap there, or I just got lucky.
