that should work to get you started ,until you can build some soil
Ok.. So after going to 3 different places I couldn't find anything that wasn't miracle grow except "jiffy seed starter" which is peat moss, vermiculite and coir. At this point I'm pretty convinced I'll need to really search for the items needed in my area, but my question is will the jiffy seed starter suffice until I can get the necessary amendments?
Yeah just use the jiffy. Mix pal don't use the perlite it's got slow release nutes and they already burnt up just transplant into the jiffy mix in solo cups with drainage holes and only give water when they are LIGHT in a week or two they should be good then start quarter strength nutes well I would do that anyway lol
ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS add garden lime to the soil, I don't give a flying fuck if its 40 dollar a bag super duper fucking top of the line soil, ALWAYS add garden lime.no, i wouldnt do anything ,but transplant into decent soil and give them time to adjust and then stomp onward threw the fog,i dont know who ever came up with the lime will keep the soil at 7.0 ph but that is bullshit ,you can over fertilize with fertilizer ,lime whatever, just get you some decent soil ,these plants are thougher than you think ,think about it this way what grows best in your yard and you dont have to do anything to it? weeds/// that is what you are smoking friend weeds ,you just have a better menu than the yard ,dont stress it ,if they die you at least know better for next round,if you give up and pull it ,well 40 bucks for 5 seeds ,i dont know about you but im giving it 120% to keep them going
YES top dress with the garden lime, YES add it to the water you pour onto your plants,Okay.. I'd like to think the transplant went successful. I tried to take as much of the MG soil out before transplanting but I'm still a little skeptic being that the small seedling had a lot of shock being transplanted that early. My question for today is, even if I got most of the mg soil out, is there any chance they can continue to burn?, and should I apply lime to the top of the soil and water to bring the ph down? I'll provide pics shortly
New growers are scared of hydro, is normally why they do not use it,Okay.. I'd like to think the transplant went successful. Arent I a little late in the game to start hempy buckets? You have definitely peaked my intrest and I am going to do research on the subject when I have free time. I was just told by a fellow grower in my hometown to just go with soil.. Guess he was wrong. BTW thank you for all your help concerning this manner. You are truely a life saver and I salute you sir.New growers are scared of hydro, is normally why they do not use it,
Here is what you can do that is easy and fool proof,
Purchase a bucket, Enough perlite to fill that bucket, drill holes about 25%to 30% up from the bottom,
Get good clean water, purchase two bottles, either General Hydroponics or advanced nutrients monkey juice line, Get the mirco and the bloom bottles ONLY,
Mix 5 ml a gallon of micro and ten ml a gallon of bloom in veg, Mix 8 ml a gallon micro and 16 ml a gallon of bloom in bloom, mix up in good clean water and pour onto plants in perlite hempy buckets,This is known as lucas formula , growing this style is known as hempy buckets,
You cannot over water and do not have to worry about ph problems,
You cannot go wrong and cannot fuck anything up with this method,
pour just a little water on them everyday until the roots hit the reservoir in the bottom of the bucket, once the roots hit the res you might have to water every two or three days,
5 ml micro and 10 ml bloom in veg, 8 ml micro and 16 ml bloom in bud, it self PHs the water when you drop it into the water,
On a 8 week strain when you start week 5 drop out micro, weeks 5 and 6 just bloom, and just ph balanced water weeks 7 and 8.
Lucas formula will be printed on the bottles,
Yea you are a little late for the hempy buckets, next time you can give them a goAre
