1st Grow (Stealth & Bagseeds)

Today begins me expedition into the world of botanics. More importantly today begins the first stage in growing my own, potent, marijuana. Now I haven't before grown a thing save some tomatoes on a virtual garden a time or two.

I am hoping to grow one productive female plant that has some massive buds . I am living where I cannot grow indoor plants due to the guidelines of my lease, rather than the laws of my state. Well I say the hell with that, I am tired of buying weed from Mr. Hookup down the street. I'd rather know what I'm getting and get what I want.

Also, I didn't have the time, money, or security of buying seeds from an online source and I don't know where to buy them in stores so I will be using some that I found in my last substantial bag. The stash was called "Pineapple Haze." I guess I will stick with that. If everything goes according to plan I will grow this better batch I got called "Blue Dream."

Tonight I am beginning construction of my grow box. The area I am working with is about 14 inches (w) x 14 inches (d) x 30 inches (h). It is a wooden set of drawers that I plan to remove the drawer faces from the rest of the drawer and attach them falsely, possibly with lock and hinges for access. I may on the other hand have the back open up for a better access solution. For lighting I want to use CFL fixtures. Hopefully one or two for lowest temperature with most lumens.

Eager to see how this turns out. I just finished a box about this size and have to admit, felt a bit of pride when all was said and done. Not as stealthy as you plan on making yours, seeing as I'm not concerned with keeping it secret, but always like to see how people do things. I'm subbed

I have put the seeds in to the germination plate.

The process I am using for germination:
1. place 2 layers of paper towell on a paper plate
2. get the paper towels damp (just wet) so they are now see-through
3. place the seeds on the plate (3 pineapple and 1 lemon kush)
4. cover those seeds with another 2 layers of paper towel and get top damp with water as well. (if you use too much water originally I would use the remaining water before adding more.)
5. finally wrap it up in a plastic bag and sit it somewhere dark that has a temperature of 72-82 F.
4. wait (only been in there for about 9 hours)

QUESTIONS
If I want to check on my seeds, I should do so during the dark?
If I want to really examine them will a little ambient light hurt? just while I look at em?

Also, I plan on going to lowes or home depot today to get some supplies, Suggestions?

Well I have 3 seeds rooting, gonna start em all and see if any are female...

Lemon Kush (1 of 2 opened)
Dragon Haze (2 of 4 opened)

I only need one female. Any more will be given away to fellows I know

males will be executed!
