Here are some early setup pictures of my first hydro grow, DWC/Bubbler. I dont have my WW seeds yet but my order as of today they are in the mail, so hopfully in about two weeks Ill have em. Meanwhile Im still waiting for my hydroton rocks, my dyna-gro Grow nutes, and my net pots. And I need to buy a water pump and a 4-way hub to put lines to the rockwool. Like I said these are early setup pictures.

Here is a picture of my main tank with my external resevoir.

Here is the water gauge on the main tank

Here is my on/off for draining the main tank and refilling when it's attached to the external resevoir.

Here is the air hose w/ check valve just to make sure no water runs back into the pump if the power fails.

Here is my air pump.

Inside main tank- 2 8" air stones and 1 10" air stone.

Inside main tank- All seals done with aquarium glue no leaks :)

External tank.

I appriciate all input but unless you think it is benificial to other people who are reading this journal please just send me a PM instead of posting it in the journal.

Thank You for taking the time to read my journal.

Looks like a good setup. My only sugestion is to not bond the airstones to the bottom of the tub. You will need to clean the stones regularly as they get clogged quickly. Please keep us informed of the progress.

lil tip by the way, despite your great setup you build, if you happen to get access to an hole saw, this a drill with a saw blade attached to it use to cut holes for appliance into drywall and stuff, use that tho cut holes into the lid. puts less pressure on the net pots, some of them got holes up to the rim and like to crack if the holes they stuck into aren't perfectly round. also is it less hassle with a cutter knife, sucks to cut yourself with those, i know that one for sure:lol:

gone have another white russian on your grow;)
