I’m considering popping another seed. Mimosa Cake looks promising but seems very slow for an auto. If the new seed catches up, I may cull. Healthy but super slow.

Mimosa Cake is happy as a clam but slooooow!
Supposedly she’s an auto but I guess I’m going to get some photo training in if I let her go much longer. Might top her and see what gives. Still haven’t started a backup yet.

Mimosa Cake is creeping along but I’m liking it’s structure. I think the seedling popped around Dec 9. That puts us into the beginning of week 4. Not sure if it was wise to top but it seemed to have responded well. Didn’t slow the growth from what I can tell. If anything, it helped speed it up.
Dos Si Dos is starting into week 10. Not happy with my training efforts on this. Nice, thick, bushy plant with some nice nugs forming but the nodes are too close together IMO and I don’t think it’s going to stretch anymore than it already has. Smelling good though.
I think the LST on DSD might have stunted her a bit. In fact, I inadvertently HST’ed one of the lower branches early on. Still looking fairly healthy otherwise. At least 3-4 weeks left of flower to go. Probably more.
Mimosa Cake will get little to no training since I topped it but going to try and be a little more proactive with pruning.

Hey I'm doing my first grow and I have a Fecida CR600 light. I only have the one plant and I've kept it at 100% lighting since it sprouted. Should I keep the lighting percent down while it's in vegetative stage? I dropped it to 80% yesterday because I read that less lighting is better during veg stage. I'm getting a new light in a few weeks that will be better but, for now Im not sure if 80-100% lighting is too much. You mentioned the cr600 can carry it through early veg stage and my plant is 2 weeks right now. How many weeks do you think the cr600 will be ok for before I need to swap out my light. My light is 2ft above the plant. Do you keep yours in this range?

I’m still learning as I go. I’m at 75% at about 18”. It’s directly over my Mimosa Cake but that plant is also getting light from the xs1500 pro. I dare say it’s probably getting too much light at this point. I may experiment a little more. Dos Si Do was in the same corner under the Fecida for the first few weeks and the node spacing is very tight and compact. It didn’t stretch as much I would have liked. I think I would have been better served to lower the intensity and/or raise the light.
Since this is the only light you have it’s hard to give you a good answer in comparison. If the plant looks healthy and doesn’t look too lanky, I’d say you’ll be fine well into the first week or two of flower. May just need to lower a bit after it finishes stretching. Auto Flower?

I raised the lights a few inches this evening. Let’s see how they respond. Do Si Dos was praying a little bit and I want Mimosa Cake to go stretch mode. Starlink_24, your reply was timely.

It's not an auto but I will be ordering auto seeds very soon and trying DWC. I think I overwatered it last week because it lost it's green coloring a little and the leaf edges started to droop. I got it on a heat mat, changed it into a terra cotta pot and haven't watered it since and it's looking way better now. Good advice though, I'll be getting a good light soon. I'm doing 18:6 lighting.

Sometimes it takes a minute to learn the container, medium, and plant regarding watering. Right now, I’m learning these fabric pots and think they are a good bang for the buck. They are quick to dry back. It’s hard to overwater especially if your medium has good drainage.

I said I wasn’t going to do any LST on Mimosa Cake after topping but I couldn’t resist. Nothing crazy. She’s stretching and we’ll mark today as first week of flower as female parts showed themselves a couple of days ago. Nutes were too much last time. Leaves are showing it. Straight water for a while. This plant is not a fast drinker.
I think Do Si Dos has responded to a drop in temp. I was hanging in the 71-73F range but the ambient temp in the basement has been a little lower lately with the cooler weather. The lights aren’t generating much heat either. Current temps are 69F. I don’t want to mess with a heater and I think they’ll be ok for a while. I may put one outside the tent. Advice is welcomed.

Mimosa Cake is still chugging along. I don’t think it’s going to get very big but the buds look dense with fat hairs.
Trichromes finally showed up on Dos Si Dos. Buds are stacking up but still have a ways to go.
She’s definitely not a fan of the cooler temps in the basement at the moment. Running about 66-67F the last several days. Still trying to avoid running a heater if I don’t have to.

Mimosa Cake is a different breed. Interesting genetics.
Started a Mosca Mango Sky in anticipation of the Dos Di Dos harvest and hedging my bet on the Mimosa Cake.
Mimosa Cake has some weird leaf stuff going on. Yet, a very sturdy plant, good node spacing, and smelling good. Variegated? Only one leaf showed up like this. Leaves tend to claw. Haven’t given nutes in at least 3 weeks. Only one dose at half strength of GH Flora Nova Bloom after I topped it. Does Happy Frog not need amending for an auto?

Do Si Dos is nearing completion. Trichromes are still a bit clear. Going to give it a few more days.
Mimosa Cake is not going to be a huge yield. It’s stunted but the few buds it has are looking very promising.
Mango Sky is growing legs after being topped.
Changed up the nutes a bit. Backed off of the Flora Nova Bloom. I have a box of MG organic bloom that I want to try out. Bought it for tomatoes last year but interested to see how it works for bud. 8-8-8. Went 1/4 strength to test it out.
Since Mimosa Cake and Mango Sky are $2 and $5 seed respectively, I feel like I can be a little more daring when it comes to experimenting with the grow. I don’t mind compromising yield as long as I learn something in the process. Maybe one day when I feel more confident with the process I’ll splurge and invest in some Mephisto or the like. We’ll see how the cheapo seeds play out first.

Chopped Do Si Dos. Could have gone a while longer but she was smelling ripe last night.
The Mosca seed is doing well.
Mimosa Cake is smelling good. Sticky as hell. $2 genetics are a bit wonky but the bud is looking and smelling super tasty.

Mosca Mango Sky doing nicely. I suspect she will start flower soon.
Mimosa Cake is around day 63 or so. I think I want to get away from using the Flora Nova Bloom. Even at half strength it seems like, almost immediately, that I get some nute issues popping up. Believe it or not, I think the MG organic bloom might be a better product for my needs. I want to try some Dr Earth at some point for comparison.
My first attempt at growing the old herb seeds was a bust. Bought some fresh seed and having more success this time around.
