1st time aero grower??????

I made a single plant aero grower and the plant is abot 3 weeks in and looking good but the roots are long enuf that they are in the water.

May I say that the DIY on the site is great!!

Its a 5 gal. bucket and a submersible water pump, 3" net basket and FF nutes.

Its that ok if the are in the water? I cant lower the water level anymore otherwise the pump will get air.

I imagine in a few weeks the roots will be sitting on the bottom of the bucket. :blsmoke:

yes you want the roots in the water, that your growing medium, and the oxygen from the air stones help them thrive

I'm running 98"x5" vinyl fence posts. I have 68 sprayers, a timer is 1 min on 4 min off. The tubes get about 1/4" of water in them while its running and a slight film while their off. The system works great. In fact there are so many ways to grow that it's sic. You won't find anyone on her saying their system sucks. There are systems where the roots are submerged, some where they never sit in water, so I think your system will work fine. Just remember not to take anything anyone says as gospel. Most times they are jja opinions, and you will have an awesome harvest. Just study these pages and use some common sence. Some people like to talk just to hear themselves speak.

Where did you get the timer? The one I have only works in 15 min slots. Need something similar to what you have. Any link to a reasonable priced one would be great. Thanks Buddy
