As was said, no heat is used, therefore no need for a temp gun to monitor temps.Do I not need a temp gun for the process?
The reason I warmed up the ethanol to 85 degrees in the tutorial was to expedite emulsification! It isn't needed at all, and actually cold is best. The reason I used a temp gun was when I was vaccum purging the final product I didn't want to start boiling off the volitile cannabanoids and terpenes. Again, it is not necessary to use heat, I did to speed things up. best method is to cold purge, but it takes a while. Hope this helps..I'm trying to do the steps off of ColoradoBudBlog. They seemed to be the most informant
I do it by eyeball at around 10:1. It needs to till pour like alcohol at 0F.So I spent this morning getting all the supplies to dewinterize my BHO but I need someone to tell me the ratio to use for oil and everclear. Not sure how much and I don't wanna use too little of anything.
Thank you, that helps alot. You're the one doing that process on C.B.B?The reason I warmed up the ethanol to 85 degrees in the tutorial was to expedite emulsification!
