I am new to this forum and new to growing. I am 3 days into transplanting 3 different strains of clones. I have 16 total females, 6 Colorado Cough/ G-13 hybrids, 6 Blackberry & 4 Bananas. The 6 Blackberry plants are from a friend who grew this outdoor in San Diego and claiming that I should produce at least 4-5 oz of this strain ( although i don't believe him ) so we'll see. I have 2 1000 watt HPS lights and am only using 1 of them now since all 16 are babies. I have the plants outside during the day then under the 1000 watt light the remainder of the day & night, so 24 hours during the veg. state for me. Once i get a decent size about 3-4 weeks into it then i will go 12 on 12 off. I hear that using florescent lights are better when they are in the vegetative state but i spent all my money so I will have to stick with the 2 lights i have. Here are some pics so far of my new babies. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME ANY ADVICE good or bad since this is my first grow. One question, how close should i keep the 1 1000 watt light to my plants? Also, any advice or help on how i am doing this so far would be appreciated. I am following what a friend did who was successful, so hopefully this works.
