1st time grower. 4 blue dream clones. pics of plants and setup tips/comments welcome.

new grower here. i got 4 blue dream clones that i got from a buddy of mine I'm not exactly sure how old they are. I have had them about 2 weeks. for the first week and few days i had them i was getting supplies and finishing up putting together my room so i had them under two t5 tube lights until i could get my light and flashing up. i have my window sealed up and my two holes cut out for my vents as soon as i get my check this week and pick up my ventilation and fan for the window. as for the soil im using fox farm ocean forest and for nutes i got the cns17 veg and bloom and berry sweet from botanicare. This is something i been wanting to do for a while. I'm excited i finally got this started, it was my birthday present to myself as well as putting the money aside for my medical card which i have an appointment for. in the pics is each individual plant, the nutes and soil, my vent holes, a pic of them under my 1000watt MH, and one of the temp / humidity. pretty much to give you an idea of my setup. been watering like every 2-3 days. i've seen a vast improvement since i transplanted them into the 5 gal buckets and put them under the light and fed them my nutes. only been on nutes for about 3 days and can tell the difference. very open to suggestions and help. Just want to make my 1st grow as smooth as i can and i am willing to do the research to do so, lemme know what you guys think of my 1st setup. of course EVENTUALLY i want more lights and elaborate setup finances pending that is. here's my pics. You've done a great job putting your growroom together

Im glad your running an hid light, makes a huge difference over cfl's ect.

The mh is fine for vegging, but i would consider using an hps when you get into the flowering cycle.

Also, one more thing... I hope you have some holes drilled in the bottom of your bucks for drainage.

Nothing worse than having stagnant water in the bottom, it will encourage root rot.

Other than that, your on the road to a successful grow.

One piece of advice i always give noob grower as i was one myself and i still consider myself a noob is a PMP Pest Management Program.
this is usually one thing people tend to forget about.
I can fully recommend HOT SHOTS NO PEST STRIPS these rock i ordered some for my new grow after receiving one from a friend i paid as much for shipping to the UK as the strips cost me lol

I also use blue and yellow sticky traps i have some PEST OFF spray, NEEM REPEL, GNAT OFF and some MONTERAY GARDEN INSECT SPRAY.

Please please please make sure you get yourself a PMP in place so that you can stop anything which is trying to get into your grow.

You may think that your room is impenetrable but believe me the little buggers can get in on you or through open vents etc.
Also make sure you do a full clean down at least once a week. Where you use a 10% bleach and water mix to clean with.

first off i just wanna say thank you for those who commented and put there input in on how to make this better / improve my room. I've been looking into things, and i actually think im gonna close off a box in the room for flowering for the 12/12 light / dark period with my panda flashing. shouldn't be too difficult, as i am planning on getting another switchable ballast so i can have 2 different cycles going in my room eventually, I got big expectations of myself and i want to do things correctly. and im excited i got approved for my medical card and i have an appointment tommorrow to get it. I love oregon haha

Yeah i dunno if i mentioned it but i have a 1000 watt switchable ballast that came with the MH and the HPS bulb i will be switchin it to the HPS when im ready to flower. and yeah i have holes drilled in the bottom of the bucket about 6-8 of them pretty decent size but not big enough to make soil go everywhere and make a mess.thanks for the comments and input

Jondamon Thanks man i was actually looking into the pest strips because i got the clones from a friend and My environment being sterile and 10x cleaner environment then they were in i wouldn't want any un cleanliness my buddy had to pass on to my room. From what i have been reading your like the 5th person to say the no pest strips work good i have screen over my vent hole so as long as i stick to cloning and growing my own stuff from seeds i think i should be pretty good, i dont have my vent setup yet but that's the next thing i'm spending money on, i'm already a good ways into this project...budget wise atleast, but i did my research and it takes money to make money know what i mean . thanks for your input though.

UPDATE. ALL of my clones are doing WELL, i been watering them every couple of days when i feel it is time too been using my fingers and the wieght of my buckets to figure out when to water, so far i'm doing ok because my plants are looking very healthy and have grown 2-3 inches since my last post be puttin pics up in the next couple days but as for now i just got home from work and checked on them and they are doing grreat. time to chill the fuck back and roll a blunt today was a long day for me, pics to come guys. or if any1 is actually checking my grow out, i was hoping to get back a little bit more feedback but oh well i guess i guess it wil come in good time.
