Hey I have a serious problem and I'm not too fond with the technical terms.

I'm currently grwoing two plants. I give them the same amount of light nutrients water and etc.

I was out of a town for a few days and something seems definitely wrong. The leaves are curling down and inward. I see no sign of growth. I see the edges of the leaves are drying out.

What should I DO? Is my plant dead?

yeh looks a bit overloaded - toxic stage of salt buildup possibly?
flush that fiend and see if it bounces back i say . . ahh which means hella clean water , give roots a chance to breath again

Give them a good flush then build your nutes back up to what ever ammount you was feeding before. It's tricky when you have to leave your plants thats what happens it's just one of those things. To be honest mate you will only save the realy sad looking plant with a lot of tlc but defo i agree they do need a good flush not sure about saltbuild up could cause that much of a prob in 1 week there would be other signs like yellowing.I think that they are under watered or someones been over watering only you will know the answer to that one good luck but don't give up on here she can br saved.
