1x 31gal Rubbermaid DIY Stealth (indoor, CFL, SCRoG)

First off, this entire set-up was all based off of what we found on RiU so much thanks to everyone. After many bowls, beers and much research, we are finally at the stage of waiting for our seeds. We finally got everything to where we can be happy with it.
SET-UP

- 1x 31gal Rubbermaid container (w/ lid)
- 1x 10'x3' sheet of Panda Film/Poly Film (90% reflection)
- 1x Homemade SCRoG (made from 3/8" dowel rods bought at craft store and hot glued together)
- 1x Homemade Exhaust Unit w/ Carbon Filter (made from a 140mm PC fan, a huge 7/11 slurpee cup, pantyhose with active carbon in it and ductape)
- 1x Homemade Passive Induction (made from a PVC elbow piece and ductaped the inside black)
- 1x 3gal Smart Pot w/ water tray
- 2x 80mm PC fans (inside air circulation. All 3 pc fans spliced and hooked to one 12v DC adapter)
- 2x Porcelain Light Fixtures and the 8ft wire cords (got from WalMart. One has a plug in socket on it which the 12V adapter goes into.)
- 2x Mogul Sockets (only one is in right now)
- 2x 35w CFL 6500K Bulbs
- 2x 30w CFL 2700K Bulbs
- 1x 125w CFL 6500K Bulb
- 1x 125w CFL 2700K Bulb
- 1x Foxfarm: Oceanforest Soil
- 1x Earthworm Castings
- 1x King Tut (Pyramid) Feminized Seed

Used a SHITLOAD of duct tape and aluminum duct tape. We also used industrial velcro to mount the porcelain fixtures and the smaller 80mm PC fans.

Whoa!!! That looks totally shit hot man!! Very impressive design & build job! I like it - will be interested in seeing how any future grows come out of it.

Also, would u be able to expand on how u made ur carbon filter & fan combo as that looks perfect for my needs in small groom. If u don't mind, a few build or componant pics or a walkthrough on how to build would be amazingly appreciated! (no worries if u didnt take pics at time, etc!) Or since u do actually say u learnt most things off here, a link to any DIY filter pages u referenced will be perfectly fine! I am browsing/searching this site for stuff myself but i've only just joined & theres so many interesting postings that i get far too distracted reading about things that grab my attention, and then i forget what i was originally intending to search for anyway! lol!

Thanks for sharing man!

Yeah we definitively found a lot of useful information here on RIU :) stick around to see the germination and grow pics !

Yeah man! It's quite simple. We went out to a computer store and bought 1x 140mm fan. We read online that you can make a carbon filter out of 2x mesh pencil holders (one larger than the other) and activated carbon. We couldnt find the pencil holders so we decided to cut the bottom of a 7-11 cup and figure out a way to mount it to the fan. The activated carbon is in a pantyhose that is tied shut at the top and stuffed into the cup. We used shitloads of duct tape and some dowel rod pieces sort of as a holder to keep it above the fan. We went out and bought a 12V DC .05a adapter from radio shack and spliced all three of our fans onto it. You can just use it for one fan or more than one. How we mounted it to the Rubbermade container was cutting a hold the size of a CD and taping the fan in place around that hole. Then i think we also liquid nailed it to be on the safe side.

Thats all there was to it lol
