ok im planning on turning a broken bath tub in the center of my house into a grow room... i plan on using 2 150 watt hps bulbs... to much to little ...also i plan leave the door open when the lights are on to help air flow ...do you think the hps lights will still be to hot..

They should be OK.. I use a 430 in a 22" x 20" x 5' area (18" fan only)... granted I can't in the summer because no air circulation in that area, but the HPS aren't that hot until you get to 430w +...
Me I'd think about one 400-430 (better yield, potency).. I have lighting charts in "charts" in my sig link...
Luck.

well i was looking around the lighting store and they have 150 watt lamps kinda cheap but i dont want to use a 400 watt hps in it for safty reasons plus the only 400 watt hps fixtures are flood lights that have to be wired... i know a wall outlet can handle about 1500 wats easy.. the lamp imtalking about is a 10 " conical alum..

as long as you have a way for air to circulate (preferably an intake/exhaust system) it should be a chillfest. if you feel it getting unbearably hot, then put some ice in the grow area or have an air conditioner on for a bit.

i had my plant in my attic for a length of time, but once summer came into full swing it got to be 100+ degrees up there and the leaves started to wilt. make sure that doesn't happen, it can be kind of scary lol.
