I ordered another 600w HPS I have one and there is no heat issue in fact its a little cool in there so I ordered another one. Now do you think that overload is going to be an issue? I have one fan one 600w HPS and a clip lamp with a 85w CFL blue for side light and spectrum differential. I tent to completely emerse myself in everything I do so things get on the verge of obsession but 1200w should be cool for what like 6-8 plants to flower? I need nute help too FF trio aint cuttin it.

I'd grab power from the ceiling lighting to feed the new light. Usually the lights and plugs in a room are on different circuits.

hi in total you would be using 6amps of power with the 2 600w hps and the cfl and fan

1285w / 230 = 5.58 + .4 ish for fan = 6amp

In UK typical light radial is on a 6 amp mcb so would trip the breaker, sockets are on 32a ring so would be fine on the sockets.
A extension lead in 2.5 flex on plug top can take 13a.

Sooooooo all the power can come from a extension lead on a plug top using a normal house socket.
All this is for uk so not sure if its the same in usa so feel free to correct me but hope this helps

I'm running 2x 600w cool tubes. Pulling air through carbon filter through lights and exhaust out of tent. I also have a 240cfm intake and a tower fan and a 6" clip on. Temp stays at 70-72 deg w/ lights on, 64 deg off. No overload issues at all. 1200 should be good for 8 nice sized plants.

I use 2 600s in cool tubes on the same circuit without a power or temperature problem. If you're plugging into standard outlets on the U.S. power grid, the 2 600s and the 85w CFL will pull around 11 amps @ 115v. Check the fuse or circuit breaker for the circuit you're using.... its a good idea to keep the load on the circuit at or below 80% of the fuse or circuit breaker rating. This means avoid plugging more than 12 amps into a 15 amp circuit and 16 amps on a 20 amp circuit.
