surfhead Well-Known Member Jan 22, 2012 #3 i have an area that is 2ft x 2.5 and i have over 30,000 lumens (cfls bulbs ) i believe like at least 4000 lumens per sq ft is an ok number, i usually get about 2.5 to 3 zips from my autos !
