i honestly can't tell from the pix. maybe give them a few more days (unless some one with sharper or younger eyes can tell).

I think I see little balls in there...though I'm not sure it's kinda hard to tell.....

Are they hairs or balls?

I honestly dont see any hairs or pods on either....but i do have that first pic you put up and the nodes look alot like the male instead of the female.
I see a few other posts where people knew right off if they were male or female so i thought i would give it a shot.

Thank you guys a ton for your fast response.

No problem I'd say just watch them closely for the next few days and it'll become more clear

Keep us posted :)

I have tried taking a hundred close up pics but they all come out blurry.
Those are my best....sadly

Here's a trick I've heard to use if you have a bad camera, I've tried it and I think it works LOL

Set your camera on the 'close up' setting. If it's a Kodak, it's the 'flower' symbol

Next, stick part of your finger over the lens, and zoom on what you want to take a pic of

Gently press the picture button so it does the auto focus thing, try and get it to focus on your plant area. This is going to make the camera think something is in the foreground, and it'll try and focus on what's in the distance if you shoot correctly. Once you autofocus on your plant, take your finger away from the lense and finish pressing the button to take the pic. *Note; don't lift your finger off of the picture button because it'll have to refocus.

OK then let me ask this, After 7 days of flowering SHOULD i see and pistils yet? does the female take longer to show than a male?

To answer your first question; yes, by 7 days you should be able to tell

I think it varies as far as the second question. I've got a plant now that's showing female and another with no sex....so I really just think it depends on the plant

Male preflowers

Female

ok here is what i found from that site.

My plants look just like this

http://www.weedfarmer.com/g2.2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3091&g2_serialNumber=2

BUT....they dont have the white hairs......this is killing me btw....i waited for 3 days now and still cant tell. I am cool with waiting for the grow time and cure....i just want to know if i need to start over. Going out of town for the holidays and that puts another 2 weeks onto a start time if i have start all over cuz these are males.

Thank you a TON for your time and your help tho.

I understand the concern, I'm in exactly the same boat you don't wanna grow a bunch of males and have to start over....if I do have to start over I don't wanna spend all this time waiting on the sex

All I can say is just wait :( I know it sucks being impatient

Have you looked at all the nodes and shoots to see if one's showing? 90% of my preflowers aren't showing, except for one that I managed to find with some hairs so look all around your plant

Man i did find a hair and about shit myself....then it turned out to be carpet fiber!

The plants are on the dark cycle right now so i have to wait a 12 hours before going to look at them again. Il let ya nkow tonight.

I also heard the 4th or 5th node is the best to look....ima go buy a magnafy glass tonight.

not to worsen your agony but i once had to wait over 4 weeks to determine sex after switching to 12/12. but if it is any consolation - it seems the longer i wait - the more likely they are to be female.
