2 Black Russian clones in waterfarms

I took these clones off a plant i had in soil. the plant was growing so fast i just had to try it hydro. rite now they are only about 3 weeks, when they took root & were put into the waterfarms a family emergency had me out of town for over a week so lights were raised. thats why the stretch took place. m only using floranova bloom/superthrive.

I will be doing a scrog & the only thing im not sure of is if i want to both plants uder the same screen to cut down on veg time or just run 1 like i usually do....anyway. here they are & i will be keeping this grow updated !

Clones looking & doing great ! cant wait to get them under my 400w mh bulb....i was even thinking of getting a 150w cfl bulb for vegging, has to be better than dealing with all these bulbs......View attachment 2657483

Just about that time to get them under that 400w & drop the screen......

Still under cfls but growth has picked up even more after adding epsom salt to my water & foliar feed solution....View attachment 2669903

Waterfarms are great - and seriously easy to build when you find a source of 3.5 gal buckets.

Nice looking plants. From your pics I assume you have access to only one end?

Have you evered considered building a seperate screan for each waterfarm----easy enough using 3/4" pvc pipe. That would allow moving your plants around some.

If interested I will try to walk you through "how to"

Alaric, thanks for stopping by....i have screens that will fit side by side in there but its the same plant from the same mother getting the same feed & schedule so didnt figure on the ned to have to move anything out...i can get to the plants from the back also, its only thin ply wood.

Ok, screen is full & canopy is as even as its gonna get. for the most part they are about 3" above screen.

Ok, so i got in there & gave her a well needed trim so i could see exactly what i was dealing with . i cut out alot of the under growth, above & below the screen. i even spaced her out a bit more & got her more alined....

Less than 24hrs after thier trim & thier looking nice & perky.....

Lookin good man, come a long way since starting on those cfls a few years ago. Ill be keeping up with his thread

Wuts good Budzilla....yup, long way from cfl time....lol...heres the latest trim job actually got even deeper than usual, wanted to clear out all those branches that are not worthy....also wanted to give them thier own space so i wont feel the need to do clipping & trimming all thru flower....
