Its not a question if you want it or not you have to think about your neighbors. I dont know if you are in a medical state or not but if you are complaints can bring unwanted attn. Here in Colorado if you get complaints that is enough for them to come knock on the door and ask you what you are doing and see your grow if you deny them access they sit there and get a warrant then you dont have a chance to deny access.

its possible to use the tent up there or even the whole space as a grow depends on the budget and what you would like to accomplish
Well I want to stick with working with the tent as I don't want to cut any holes in walls or anything.

yer prolly gonna have to. 6" hole saw bit is mandatory in my experience..Patching it up if and when u move is easy. Wood and dry wall screws. ..the bit...cordless screw gun...duct tape...spray foam..heavy duty snips...hammer nails...measuring tape..caulk gun...duct flanges...these are just some of the things you might or might not need. All of that and more is what i keep handy. Iam running a bit more space and wattage than you are but some of these tools arw mandatory. Especially when you upgrade to more wattage and a real room. That tent will get regulated to a veg tent...always on 18-6. And it will be a good one. Crank out some bushes to flower out under a thousand watter or 2. But you got a good starter kit for sure. You will be ok. Just listen to the rollitup veterans that want to steer you right and save you cash. I wish there was an internet and forums when i started out. Would of saved me MANY unnecessary purchases and time. Alot of gear i bought back in the nineties and early 2000's is just sitting in a corner in my basement. All kinds of shit. This is a pricey hobby to do it right...even more bucks when you buy and do shit through trial and error. Good luck homie.

A 1kw HPS will crank out a qp or almost every two weeks...for sure :) The nice thing about using a 1kw HPS is that it can be set at 44",s from the glass to the medium and left there providing that the seedlings or snips are put in ASAP without veg time. I adjust the reflective screening according to the grow and the foot print maxes at 36 square feet or 6'x 6'.

I leave my moms/clones on 24/0. I also don't veg the rooted snips. They'll get 3-4 feet starting them straight on 12/12.

All new seedlings get fimm'ed and coded and the snip is kept for a mom if the seedling does okay. You will get a chance to get a snip under the sodium before any sign of sexing appears even if the seed is started in the budding room without veg time.
