2 month old plant problems

i have a 2 plants growing and the bottom leaves are looking like they may be bead but the top of the plant looks healthy, but it also looks like i gace it to much water but i havent gave it any water for 2 days not and it is still doing it can someone help me please!!

hey man whats up bro. dont sweat it. these plants are wicked wicked tough....it is very normal completely normal for the lower leafs to die off. its good. think of a fan leaf as a food storage bank. and as the plant uses up the food in that leaf, the leaf dies and falls off. dont sweat it. as long as the top new growth is healthy then your fine....a healthy plant under good conditions will grow 2 inches a day. what are you growing, whats it in. what lights you using?

hey whats going buddy thanks for the info i wasnt sure y they were doing that cuz the plant is about 8" tall and about a month and a half old i know i had givin it a little to much water so the top leaves are looking down if you know what i mean and as of right now i am using 3 100 watt CFL for the lights and mylar to reflect but i dont think my plants are growing 2 inches a day but i judst have them in mirical grow mositure control soil, is there a better growing medium to use i would like to do a hydo system but dont have the start up money yet anysuggestions thanks ~~~Jay420~!

ohh and also would it be ok if i cut the dying leaves off so i can get more light to the new growth comming from the nodes where the dying leaves are!?
