Before i grow this next batch i wanna make sure i have Everything needed,

I dont understand fertilizers, can someone give me a recipe that i could use after flowering? and how do i add them i've been told to use 20-20-20 when using fertilizers but i do not understand what they mean by 20-20-20, any help would be cool.

Also, potting soil is what im using now, a general potting soil idk if the brand matters but idk it, is that okay or should i change that as well.

Much thanks

Organic soil is best. As far as nutrient look for organic ones as well. For vegging look for a nute higher in N, when you switch to flowering look for one that is higher than P. About two weeks from harvesting stop using nutes and use strictly water to flush your plants. Everyone has their own opinion on which nutes to use, I don't. When I grow in soil I just make sure my nutes are organic and they have the ratios I mentioned. I'm sure some people will swear by their brand of nutes, so take it all with a grain of salt.

You will learn as you go.....and figure out a lot of info on this board is bad info! Or lots of different opinions I should say :)

When people talk about fertilizer or food for their plants they talk about NPK ratios. I won't get into all the specifics as there is tons of info on this board already if you search. Your 20/20/20 is fine and despite what people tell you that will work from start to finish. Some feel you need less N for flower and high P. Some growers believe this is just marketing hype to sell you more product. Products specifically marketed to the marijuana growing community (snake oil). Also the advice of not feeding two weeks to is also very debatable as your plants still like to eat! I know what about all those nasty chemicals that need to be flushed out? Again you can search it out and try both methods. See for yourself....

Some soil has food in it, so be careful when plants are young. If you add more it can hurt your babies. When you do start feeding start 1/4 strength. 20/20/20 is pretty strong so start slow. Some get on a schedule that works, like water, water, feed. I would find a good soil to start with. I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest, I typically don't need to feed for 4 weeks as it has enough food in it. Then I start and soon after go into flowering.

Try not to over water and over feed....basically you want to use the KISS method to grow when starting out! Hope that helps.

So what does 20/20/20 mean exactly, like 20% N 20% P 20% ? rest water?, i have 2 females now (had to yank 1) and i havent gave them any fertilzers yet, and theyre a few weeks into flowering, if someone could just tell me to put in x x and x amount into a bottle and water every x days then thatd be amazing and i would have some sort of idea as to what ill go off of.

And i have holes at the bottoms of their containers so i cant really overwater them unless i try

You definitely can over water, especially using soil. Soil retains a lot of water and if you over water you'll just end up with mud and a dead plant. All you basically need is a soil veg base, soil flower base, and some cal-mag, anything else is pretty much yield boosters or snake oil for peace of mind. Debunk me if I'm wrong.

Check your nute directions it should tell you how much to add. It may say something like 5ml per gallon or 1tsp per gallon. Since you haven't fed yet and now into flower it is prob a good time to hit them up. Go half strength of whats recommended. Then water normal water next time. For example my last grow was in 2 gallon fabric smartpots. By the time I got a few weeks into flower and my plants were 2 feet tall I was watering every other day. I was feeding every third water pretty much but had to adjust plus or minus based on plant health. Schedules can be bad....how often do you water? Are you lifting the pot to feel when it is lite?

FFOF is not for newbs, but yes lots of newbs start with soil (most forgiving medium) and use FFOF because it is readily available and good soil....personally I amend mine a tad with light warrior and additional perlite. I have heard good stuff about promix as well.

Mr. MaryJ your plants look good, but lets not get ahead of ourselves :)
