2 new 660w Alibaba qb's just arrived today to replace 2 1000w HPS's!

I ordered 2 new 660w LED qb's off of Alibaba for $675 about 42 days ago. I could have done express air for an extra $200, but I was in no rush for the lights. I opted for express sea freight and saved the $200. Boxes arrived in good condition. It was shipped as a box within a box with lots of foam padding. Instead of a mix of 3000k and 5000k chips I opted for all 3500k chips this time with the epistar 660nm and 760nm chips. Spectrum looks great and the equipment is in pristine condition. The lights are packed so well it's a bitch getting them out of the boxes and foam. These were bought to replace 2 1000w HPS lights to reduce the heat and power consumption. I'd like to add 2 more long skinny 240w qb's and that should max the room out. I'll probably do that next flower cycle. I won't be flowering for another 4 weeks but I'm looking forward to better heat control during the summer months and less use of the AC. I'm expecting about a $200-250/month savings on electric after replacing the 2 1000w HID's with 2 660w LED's and removing the 2 600w HID's with no replacement. I'm saving about 2000w on lighting and another 1400w on the continuous ac operation during lights on for 12 hours. That's a total electric savings of 3400w per day when the flower room is operational. That's an incredible difference! And one I'm greatly looking forward to. 'Ol Stephen must be getting pissy about losing so many sales to alibaba. They just hit a bunch of vendors with 2 week suspensions for using the keyword "quantum board" in search queries. My vendor included. I guess Stephen is either going to A) have to stop fucking his customers and make his prices more competetive or B) alibaba and the vendors on their platform are gonna continue to decrease HLG's market share 1 day at a time as more people discover the fucking they're getting on their qb's ordering state side. HLG should be treating their customers fairly by offering competitive prices. HLG can overnight a board to a customer for a warranty issue because they charge their customer more than twice the cost of making that light on the initial sale. Some of their customers call that great customer service. I call that getting raked through the fucking coals and being too ignorant to accept it for what it is. What can ya do? Different strokes for different folks. Love me some 'baba!

Plants should like that direction of the 660nm diodes in those fixtures. Good choice.
