2 Question I can't seem to locate a answer for new at this

Hello All,

I have done a search, but the answer still alludes me.

1.) How long will a mother plant live for before you should grow a new one for clippings?

2.) This is going to sound real stupid..Once you cut the buds off. Can the female regrow more buds or does it die off, and you start from seed or cutting again?

Sorry if it has been asked before, but can't find the information anywhere...

Thanks,

Randall

1. Keep it as long as it is manageable and you are enjoying the strain.

2. You can reveg a flowered plant by reverting light schedule to 24/0 and allowing new growth. After that, you can put it back into flower. You'll also need to revert back to your veg nute schedule.

so what if the plant was ready to be harvested and you picked your buds off then you stuck her back on 24 hours light or 18/6?? would your plant revert back to veg and survive??

1) what he said
2) some plants don't appreciate revegging and some are badly shocked and don't make it........I think it has something to do with APD and RPD....absolute photo determinate and relative photo determinate...... I've had plants that you could go back and forth as much as you wanted with no problems.....then others that would go hermi........so if you reveg....keep a close eye during bloom... If there's no hermi issue, it can create some monster plants and/or save a special specimen............. the very first mama I ever had was revegged......It was the most amazing plant, short and stocky, tasted like lebonese blond hash, cloned so easy you could practically cut a branch, let it fall and it'd root....... Sad was the day LEO took my baby.......
