2 seeds combined during germination

Hey,

I had two seeds combine during germination(paper towel), one seed did not look like it was going to sprout so I said fuck it and tossed the seed that had sprouted and combined with it together into the mini-green house. Well less than a day later they both shot up, just about the same size. Not sure what I should do now. Any tips would be much appreciated.

your best bet imo, would be to try and separate them, and soon, before the roots get all intwined, making getting them apart a guaranteed death sentence for the both of them..

It's still very early so maybe it will work, they are both about an inch and a half tall.

yeah, you should be able to separate them if you take your time and be gentle..

you can also leave them, but it's not recommended to grow more than one plant per pot..

veeery gently push the dirt out of the way from the other seedling and pull it out slowly, dont force it otherwise youll damage any formed roots. they build root systems fast so this would be best to do asap. once you have it pulled, transplant into another pot.
