2 stems 1 seed

Just as my title says. So I planted a TGA subcool “Qleaner” seed after it popped in wet towel. I put in a smartpot and threw it in a dark tent. Totally spaced it, until two days later, today, and opened it up and found two stems protruding. One at the soil line and one standing on its own. The short one is thick and the tall one is thin and frail, but both are very much alive. Never seen this. I saw an old post on this topic, but it was from 2012, and not much was answered. Anyone?

I had the same a few month ago,I nipped the smaller weaker one away.It did well,If there both the same height and both look nice and healthy then I would leave the second one,but mine was a lot smaller .It looked healthy but half the size of the main one .I would leave it a little longer though ,with the seedling been so young might just shock it .

Hey Green Thumbs MCGee!

Cats love weed so you have to protect your little seedlings (I have 2 tigers myself ;-) )

These 2 seedlings would have most likely been the same plant, just like clones.

Second the cats liking weed thing. Mine are bat shit crazy over it. Lost a $10 amnesia haze seed/seedling the other day to one of the little shits. Turned my head a second, gone.
