So eventually I plan on building up this garage to grow in and have been thinking of an amazing light set up

8x 800 watt Mars Hydro LEDs 4 rows of 2

And what about adding

8x 432 watt T5 HO 4' x 8 bulb fluorescents
On the walls? (2x fixtures on each wall)


3456 watts in T5s
6400 watts in LEDs

The LEDs advertise they can grow 3 grand per watt.. is that true or false ? If so. How would I be able to yield the maximum of 42 pounds from the 8x LEDS



Maybe a possible 4-6 more pounds from the T5s. Those would be used below the canopy to keep from having to lollipop the future small BS buds

First off, no 3 gram a watt is a bullshit figure used to sell lights by unscrupulous light manufacturers.
If I see a grow that proves it with wet and dry weights so we can all see with our eyes that the grower isn't bullshìtting and has the same idea of what dry actually is conforming to the rest of the worlds standards then I'll be the first to congratulate them. But still as helpful as an efficient light is to upping your gpw you still need the skill to properly maximise your space and keep plants healthy.
It's not as simple as just buying a light because the manufacturer says it will produce x per watt.

Secondly post a link to the exact lights.
