2000w Lamp coverage question....

I was looking at this Growzilla

2000w_High_Powered_Combination_HID_Lamp

They have a chart that shows it can easily cover an 8'x8' with supplemental coverage n an extra perimiter of 2'...

I thought the coverage had to do with the reflector more then the power of the lamp..

Any thoughts if this can stimluate 60+ plants in an 8'x8' grow area and still give some crazy dense nugs?

Just my 2 cents -I would think that you would get better results with two 1000 seperate sysytems for better light spread and movement for the plants, then that one dual 1000 system.

I like this setup just because you can use a HPS and an MH in the same unit... I have read on some benefits of using MH as well during flowering... But yea I understand what you are saying...

ya,
If I was to have a set up like that I would run two light movers with one hps and one mh so they get the best of both worlds. But then I guess then you could just this system.

I thought that they have hps bulbs with like an extra 30% blue spec. in them this could solve that issue. what do you think

OK my two cents. You call Superior Growers Supply in East Lansing. Ask for Peter or Shawn or Maggie. Tell them some long white haired old sob Named Vic said you need the lowdown on the best lights for the money. If Jeff or Harley happen to be around talk to them instead it doesn't matter. VV

your best results would come from using 3 600's, the problem with those fixtures is that there is to much light centered in one spot, if you were to hang it high enough to cover 8x8 the intensity would be not so great, i just bought a 250 mh for my clones and the box says it will cover a 5x5 and a 400 will cover a 10x10, i dontg know where they get these numbers from but clearly they are not for weed
