Bummer with being laid off man, that sux!. BUT on the brighter side it does give you more of a chance to spend with your girls! Im a new england grower as well, Maine. I havent put mine out yet waiting for all this rain to subside a bit looking at this weekend. how many sucessful plants did u have last season?

the rain and cooler temps has caused much delay...last year i started with 10...the end result was two..maybie half a pound. i payed close attention to NEL's thread last year and learned a few things..did some reading through some e-books...learned a bit more..i lost 7 plants last year to rabbits and found 1 male in the remaining three..rookie mistakes. well the next week looks like yet more rain and cooler temps..since our holes are very close to this stream im wondering if its a soupy mess...we are using organic nutes and when we went out on friday to scope around a little bit there was little evidence of animals digging around in the soil..we were gonna stay away from the chicken wire..but have since renigged on the original thought.

Hello I'm really new to growing, I'm going to grow outdoors and I was wondering do I have to germinate my seeds like you would growing indoors? I was going to plant them straight into the grow with my potting soil. Please let me know any advise is great advise thank you

pics an shit to be posted up later today...as i have found my microchip...been getting some good sun finaly that it has stopped raining! they have been out for 5 days now...i am using marine cusine currently..and am looking into getting the fox farm trio....5 more holes to dig and fill..bringing the total plant count to 15. hoping for a fabulous season!

Do you put fence around them? Something I have noticed is that not many people 'pinch' their plants, at least from what I've read in here, OR they confuse pinching w/ topping. You can almost double your yeild from 'pinching'.

This is what I got going right now...1 Dutch Passion Durban Poison,I had tried to start one of these over a month ago but the seed never germed,This strain is the reason I decided to grow and since I had to order a seed I figured might as well get a variety, I really like the sativa high, but getting a good pure sativa is kinda hard..and with a short for sativa flowering time she should finish up nice here in new england, this one is only 2 weeks old:

1 Barney Farms LSD- month and a half old, great node spacing and branching, I'm gonna let this one do its own thing don't think topping or LST will be needed but I will probably LST going into flowering

1 Greenhouse Big Bang auto 2 weeks old( a full week of rain and clouds stunted it I think- weird leaf growth IMO) I'm not expecting much from this seeing how it should be done in 60-70 days and I'm on day 12 or 13 since it broke ground- it was a freebie so whatever..also trying my hand at a root pruning pot and it will get LST once it starts to flower...cage is for the damned rabbits and groundhogs

1 random bagseed- she was germed in Feb. topped at about 3 weeks and had the stem crushed with needle nose pliers every week until 2 weeks ago, she was much bushier but I trimmed it this morning in order to focus growth on the 5 main stems...this plant was grown to abuse, I originally had no intention of finishing it but it showed as a girl so now its on...

and I just started 1 Short Stuff Super Cali Haze auto, all these were done under a 4ft 4 bulb(2 5000k,2 6500k) T8 until 2 weeks ago and are now out in the sun(except the Durban, just getting that used to the sun now) hopefully it will be a good year for me :blsmoke:

not even 1 week in to this season and im ready to axe my partner...he is lacking commitments of time and finances with expectations of high yields. im just not half steppin it this year...and i have no time for weak at heart or the ball and chain lockdown that poses the biggest threat to this partnership. im considering a cash payment for the labor provided followed by a "your fired......better luck next year".
