2012 fire season

If anyone needs to evacuate their girls this summer due to fires, I'm happy to TEMPORARILY house them. I'm very out of the way for most of you, but I can help folks from Pagosa Springs and west to the Utah border, and from Montrose south to the New Mexico border. Just PM me and we can go from there.

I'm sure this sounds crazy to most of you, but I just want to put it out there. If I had to evacuate, the FIRST thing I'd think about (after family and dogs, of course) would be my girls, and it seems like such a niche concern, you know? They're not something you would take with you to the local Red Cross shelter, probably.

Nice offer, looks like the springs has already lost homes. Another fire lit up today just outside of boulder.. If anyone out there IS in danger of losing their homes, please go. I was in san diego during the big fire a few years ago... People lost their lives because they wouldn't heed warning. We can replace plants, not people. And trust that your community WILL donate, if it comes to that.

Yea, the last couple days have been crazy down here in the springs to say the least! If anyone is getting evacuated I may have room at my place for people but not plants (sorry) or if you need to leave your pet somewhere I can prob do that too.

I was glued to the streaming feed of 9 News last night, and I normally NEVER watch 9 News. We've had some massively huge fires down here, but we don't lose houses like that because we just don't have the population. Good luck to BadAndy and anyone else in the Waldo Fire area!

Im all the way on the south east side of town (almost to fountain) so Im thinking the fires wont make it here but ya never know...thanks for thinking of us and I hope everyone is ok too.

I'm on pre-evacuation notice here in Boulder. I think we'll be OK as long as the winds stay relatively calm. The fire is actively burning on the East side of Bear Peak now, which is about 2 miles from CAS and I.

I dont have a lot of room in flower, but of course i am willing to take any plants, pets or people, if anyone needs anything feel free to hit me up, as always.
