2012 Strain selection.... Any suggestions??

Hey guys just about ready to start my garden for the 2012 season. This is going to be my 2nd outdoor grow and was wondering what strains you guys would recommend for my climate? or if any of you near me had good luck with a specific strain? I live in Northern California, close to Sacromento, where the summers are pretty warm (most days 90+ degrees and some 100+ degrees) so i need a strain that can do well with the warmer climates. Last season i used clones which did alright, but i wanted to start from seed this season. Any input would be great, Thanks guys!

I know people in Northern Cali that are having great success with Bubba Kush and Green Crack outdoors.... I would suggest either of those.

Cali? I would think just about any strain will grow there. I would grow some kind of sativa. Not like kush and all those other mainstream Indicas are hard to find.

Growing master kush from Nirvana outdoors over here in SoCal. This is my first real grow (I've dabbled before but nothing serious )haha and I heard master kush is pretty hardy, less likely to fuck it up even with harsh climate conditions or beginner nute problems.

Just be weary, sativa grow tall and indicas grow bushy. If security and height is an issue like for me, go with your indicas or Indica-dom hybrids like master kush.

Doing a skunk/northernlight hybrid from seed outdoors. Also doing white widow from clone too but all my clones are started indoor under T5's for 6 to 7 weeks. Outdoors, I get direct sun from about 7:45am till 6pm, so I flower outdoors. I feel if you get the plants strong and healthy indoors, they will do fine and not go into any shock. Last year I vegged indoors for 6 weeks then flowered outdoors and it was OG kush, and I got about 5 zones a plant after 6 more weeks. I hope for more this time.
