Yeah love the UK cheese too, did one auto and it came out textbook, massive swollen calyxes, barely any leaf, like 3ft tall in a gallon pot and was just a thick smoke flavor of sour skunky cheese. Might pop another but feel i got lucky with that pheno.

sounds good, UGORG have some great Cheese & a few others that are a hit in the UK apparently, i would buy those but overstocked now for some yrs to come

So can you paint two different pollens on the same mom and get unhindered crosses from the two branches on the same plant? Or is that just crazy talk LOL. I have a maui waui male thats indica leaning, pretty stoked to chuck for the first time as a little side project. got a few different bodhi strains running now too, but they havent sexed quite yet. Just reading your list makes me wanna go nuts, no pun intended

yes ive seen people here paint various limbs on the one plant with different pollen collected from mixed strains, i think they wrap a bag over the branches that pollen is to be applied, it would have to be a very careful and steady manner cos one mistake & pollen flies everywhere, i dont do it cos there is wilderness out here so the breeders just get placed in remote areas miles away from each other...yes went a bit silly here this season with so many chucks, nearly 1/3rd of the last wave of last season were seeders & some here preferred more consumables were farmed instead, so this season only smoko is being grown, no pollen chucks...or maybe just a few lol, you will be stoked when you harvest your first pollen chuck, so many seeds you wont need to sweat running out for a long time, sometimes a chuck can be better than anything you have had before too

Yeah im really excited, actually having a hell of a time male hunting, everythings turning out female :hump:

well here they are now in 1 gal/4ltr pots, they will be in these till they get a good root structure probly2-3wks then planted into larger pots

especially interested in these Dynasty Platinum Huckleberry Cookies x Archive Face Off OG new chucks to see how they turn out, the Plat Huck mom was from old stock Dynasty noted to be a great batch of seeds

Do you live in the southern hemisphere? Starting spring now right? Are these all autos. Looks so epic, loving the list of strains. Professional!

hi thanks, yes inland Australia, its spring from september 1st here, no autos or femmed, just standard regs, a small light is used outdoors to extend daylight hrs so they do not bud up early, appreciate the compliment but im no pro, those crosses were pretty much random choices, im sure the real pro breeders would grimace at the methods used here!
good luck on your journey

Nice man im in South Africa and season has supposed to have started but many growers are holding off until a week or twos time before sowing seeds as its still abit cold. Im planning where to put my plants and im in a predicament as my garden has shade in many parts during the day. Got a veggie patch at the bottom of my garden that currently gets around 6 or 7 hours of direct sunlight only. Its sheltered from the wind abit better than in the front as well as not having lights on during the evening for the dark periods, the front of the house has street lights which iv heard can screw up your plants cycle.

So at this point im hoping as summer progresses that spot at the back will get more sunlight but who knows. Hoping i can get a decent yield on 6 to 10 hours lol. Also considering planting two plants in the ground when they get big enough, and then having 2 plants in 10 litre buckets that ill move around during the day to catch the sun lol

sounds good, what types are you growing there? any of the African strains? ive got some Malawi Gold cross Mikado seeds from a chuck about 14yrs ago, very heavy yielding quality buds..reminds i better do something with those before germination viability vanishes, im sure the 6-10hrs sunlight will be enough for a nice outcome for your plants, beware that streetlight though, only a small amount of light will mess up their cycle, the advantage of pots is you can move them when/where you like, every 2 weeks i turn the pots 180 degrees so that both sides of the plant get equal sun, that seems to help it get better overall budding, also if its cold there you can raise/germinate you seeds in a warm place like indoors next to your fireplace, that can give you a headstart cos once germinated they can still grow if its cold, but wont germinate if the seeds are cold, that's what i did this season as wanting to get an earlier start to the season

below a pic of those Malawi Gold x Mikado around 2005, plants were attacked by a plague of butterfly caterpillars during the budding cycle, almost went blind trying to find all the larvae, but in the end the harvest was pretty good

Looking great there cropper,my outdoor season now winding down I got 3 depo runs in 5 months plus the greenhouse. my lastest depo run ghost train haze x skidder trl my chuck:bigjoint:IMG_2132.JPG

on point there thumper! light depo is the go instead of being tied to natural light cycles which can be limiting for the outdoorsman, hope you let us know how that chuck smokes up? only heard good about the GTH, are you doing any indoor for winter there?

Yo Green, gotta a couple questions if you dont mind. I fudged up, couple day trip ended up hermie'ing my strawberry banana. Everything in the room is swelling weeks later, a few different strains. Would it be worth it to keep them going for seeds or is this just a loss? I assume breeding with something that sensitive in my own environment, will prob pass that sensitivity down, but figured id ask someone with a lot of chucks under your belt. Dont wanna waste any more time ya know?

its a hard one to answer, hermies usually pass on hermie traits, that said i guess femmed seeds are hermie in a way too? personally i cull everything that shows sign of hermie & wont grow that type again, some people are happy to pluck sacs off lowers & sometimes thats all there is to it, its up to you in the end
