I figured I'd post my 2021 outdoor here. This first post will get the thread up to date from the beginning. I have 6 plants growing in a raised bed that is really a little too tight for the size the plants are getting.
I have a cloning habit. Even though I have no more room to populate plants in my indoor, I have a hard time throwing away viable cuttings when I trim my mothers, so I end up making a lot of excess clones. I try to give them away to whoever will take them, but I've only got a few grow friends, and they're filled up now too.
Last year I sprouted a bunch seeds of various types, kept the best Afghani landrace male and Sannie's Triple Pakistani male, gave away all but 9 females, dusted the 9 females with the males before offing him, and then kept cuts off of the best 4 females for mothers.
I had 5 extra Motherlode Kush clones. This came from seeds acquired at sanniesshop.com. Some of my very first grows were Sannie's stuff, and I've been getting stuff from him for quite a while now. I call this one MLK4, as it was tagged #4 out of 10 sprouted of this type. It has a very interesting aroma like when you open a bag of Fruity Pebbles or Froot Loops and take a big whiff, that mixed with a hashy kushy aroma. It was the only one with that aroma. It's very resinous. When I was doing some trimming on the plants the other day, still in veg, my arms got all sticky.
The 6th plant is a volunteer that sprouted up early in the raised bed. I'm not sure which female it came from, but they were all pretty dank. Based on its location in the bed, it either came from Sannie's Sour Kush or from Habiba acquired at amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com. Either way, I'm excited to see what comes from it. It has been a super vigorous plant. It sprouted very early in mid March, stayed like a tiny seedling in the cold for a month, started veging hard in April, and showed pistils after a few weeks, so I kept it going. If I keep a clone going off of this it will be called Voluntary Kush (VK)
I prepped the bed by mixing in kitchen scrap compost, diatomaceous earth, and extreme mykos and azos.
March 17th I found the volunteer when cleaning weeds to prep the raised bed
I had some clones going but didn't have places to use all of them
