day 43. sorry about all the hps photo's for anyone thats following. I will try to take a better pic this evening with the light off. but an update is better than no update. anyway,...I'm pretty pleased with how the buds are fattening up and extremely impressed by the trichome coverage on both plants. like stated before, the plant in the back is getting some major light/heat stress but trich coverage makes up for it. just when you think you have everything figured out, you find out you dont lol. learned a lot this grow. For example,....make sure the flood tray is facing the right direction before you get all scrogged out lol. enough rambling though. this is just a pic to show an overview of the crop

day 48. I accidentally left my tent open last night, so I took the opportunity to get some pics. You should be able to clearly tell apart the two strains. the adams og is not stressed looking, while the leaves on the white skunk towards back of tent are fuckkkkked looking, but still sugary as hell. my guess is that the white skunk is a magnesium hog and a nute hog in general. the adams OG (in front of tent) seems to do just fine with a lower EC.

Damn nice. I hope mine look that good at day 48. Is that from 12/12? I'm on day 35 on a sour d and it's no where as nice.
Thank you. Its day 48 from the switch to 12/12. Also, I would expect a sativa dom strain like sour deisel to take longer to flower, so I wouldnt compare it to this indica dom strain. It does seem like it started forming trichs and larger flowers earlier than other strains ive grown. it may end up being just a 60 day flowering strain (I gotta start checking the trichs) unlike a sativa like yours, which could easily be a 3 month flowering strain. again, thank you for the kind words!

That is true. I topped, and lst'd this one. First time I've ever tried it. Took this earlier today. I'm planning on at least 12 weeks. Day 35.

Day 54 I think. Despite the fox tailing burnt leaves on the white skunk, all the buds are coming along nicely. The white skunk is going to be an 80 day strain most likely, which is throwing of my perpetual schedule, but o well. just want to reiterate,..this is my first COMPLETE grow in coco. tried several times before and something always came up (life) that made me have to abandon the grow. I know its not the best, certainly not the worst. I could kick myself for some of the silly mistakes I made, but learned from all of them. hopefully I will kill it next round

This pic was from a couple days ago. I threw out the genetic that is producing the some massive colas. Those round soft ball size colas are the white skunk. I havent been giving it much attention and it's still producing a lot every day. . It also seems to be better for scrogging. I heard OG varieties (the plant in front is Adam's OG cutting) dont do so well with scrog method. Has anyone else heard that before. Trying to decide which genetic to to run. Adam's og is a 60 day flowerer as opposed to white skunk which looks to be a 80 day flowerer but a better producer. Decision decisions ha. Sorry for the rant

Im dropping my light down afrer looking at that, awesome.
Thanks, you can try it at your own risk ha. I cant take all the credit for them doing so well that close to the light. Genetics are at play. These cuttings came at a price. This grow really showed me the importance of genetics. Other strains I've grown would have gotten fried that close. mistakes can be interesting in this hobby. I'm currently in the middle of flushing one of the plants and will harvest tomorrow I think. The other plant is still putting out tons of white hairs. I was going to say something else but forgot...till next time **edit***i guess they werent really much more expensive thana pack of good seeds now that I think of it.
