update: the adam's og came out extremely dissapointing. It has no unique smell. I'm most dissapointed by that. now the white skunk that I will be harvesting in a few more days smells so strong and unique (peppery skunk smell), its very overwhelming. White skunk is an awesome strain! I will post some pictures up tomorrow.

Adam's og hanging and most laying on nets. Slow drying. This plant had so much more potential that I'm going to try and bring out next round. I screwed up by trying to fit two plants under one light and the Adam's og got bad light coverage.

This is a bad recent pic of the white skunk. The colas keep fattening up. This my favorite strain I've grown yet. The smell is so strong. It's at day 72.

Jarring the buds tonight after a 4 day supposed slow dry. Wasn't so slow though. I think I over dried the damn things but o well. I'll still smoke it voluntarily ha.

I thought I overdried them....but I was way wrong. Few hours in the jar and they were sweating a lot. They are quite dense. It's been so long since my last harvest, I've forgotten so much. And thank you!Over dried in that short time? That's happened to me with airy buds but seems dense from the pic. Looks great though especially the skunk

Day 75 I think. White skunk. Coco/perlite dtw. Tried to get a few decent pics without turning the lamp off. I've never been so excited for a harvest. These are the largest, smallest, stickiest colas I've ever gotten from a plant.

What causes a bud to grow in this manner? ...putting out those side shoots or whatever. Is it strain specific? Every once in a while, I get some bud from dispensaries that have a similar bud structure.

Foxtailing. It can be genetic, or from heat or light stress

Huh,..didn't know that was what foxtailing was. It doesn't seem like it's anything negative about it. It just seems to be making the bud larger overall. Can foxtailing be a good thing

Some people like strains that foxtail, it just depends. It can add more weight but other times your buds will be fluffier. Also the new growth can take longer to mature while the rest of the bud is done. And sometimes they will just keep on foxtailing endlessly or hermie if you let them go too long.

Man, that was a really helpful read. I was wondering why the buds were putting out a new batch of white hairs. I was stoked. But I see that it's not necessarily a good thing. Good to know, for sure

Day 79. I would be more concerned about the scorched leaves if they seemed to be affecting the bud growth, but the buds look and smell great and far above the size that I'm used to. This foxtailing deal is bugging me a bit. There's still some clear trichs that I'm hoping will turn soon so I can chop it dow and throw in my Adam's og mother plant. Definitely wouldn't advise anyone to try their plants that close to the lights. Hopefully, I only suffered cosmetic problems, but won't know until its smoked. Also, the tops spent most of flowering much closer to the light. Most of the tops are bent at about a 45 degree angle towards the front

This is a more accurate photo. Although the leaves nearest the light were toasted quite a but, they are not fried like that first pic showed from the flash

Day 84. I think I'm harvesting in a couple days even though some buds are still putting out white pistils. It white skunk. I think the foxtailing is partially genetic because its happening to every single bud, it's fairly uniform looking....butttt some of my leaves might disagree. Just a few updates pics here before I chop this

I'm throwing the Adam's og mother plant into flower tomorrow after I pull the white skunk out. Wasn't going to even flower the mother, but I think timing has allowed me to do it. I might just start a journal in the correct forum for that
