24/0 lighting & temps question

I'm running 24/0 lighting. During the day from... 12-1pm until around 6-8pm if I keep lights on it gets around 90-91⁰F rh around 35-40%.

Is it going to hurt my plants, if I use less lighting during those times so its cooler in there? Or can my plant handle those high temps for 6-8 hours of the day? At night with all lights on it's only about 80-84⁰F.

Theres constant air exchange going on. I'm waiting for my therm gun to come in the mail, once I know what my LST is when the temp is 90⁰F then I'll be more comfortable but putting a hydrometer on a string and hanging it next to my leaves didnt help at all lol

I guess I'm going to have too. Because if I do, then shes only going to have to deal with high temps for an hour or two depending on the weather. But idk I think turning the CFLs off during the hot period and turning them back on at night will be okay. Without the CFLs shes sitting under 220true watts of LED so shell be okay I guess. I just wish she could have all the lights on all day. This problem will be no more once i get my new morsen 3000W (540W)

I too am curious to know the benefit of 24/0. Plants have survived for millennia with a daily dark period.

CFL's are great for cloning and getting seeds to pop. Your 220 W blurple would VEG her nicely on its own.

Just took a peek at the Morsen site. Was this their M3000 "Full Spectrum White Light" or "Pink Light Version".

24/0 can really help if you want to have a stable climate.
It can be easier to maintain.
But when that reason is gone, I wonder what is another reason to keep your plants on 24/0.

Marihuana is a C3 plant (like 95% of plants) and it doesn't need darkness to grow.

Not disagreeing ... just summarizing. Assuming a stable environment, the canopy that took 8 weeks under an 18/6 schedule would only take 5 weeks under 24/0?

It does not work that way.
It would still take the same amount of time.

And it would cost you also the same amount of electricity.
At least... if you do it right.
Perhaps that is what is also wrong with the TO. Maybe he gives them to much light, or at least to much heat.

Let's say you have a lamp of 600 W and normally it would be perfect in a 18/6 situation.
Then when you would put on the lamp for 24/0, you have to dim the light a bit.
Google "Daily Light Integral"
It is the amount of PAR-light that every plant needs per day.
There is an optimal DLI range for every crop. If the amount of light falls below that in a day, not enough biomass is produced.
If it rises above it, light is wasted or damage can occur.

If you give your plants the perfect DLI then there is no time difference between 18/6 or 24/0.
If you do notice a time difference, then you either gave your plants to much light or not enough light in one of these situations.

I'm switching to 18/6 today. Starting at noon.
And I have tried with and without the CFLs. To be honest, when I only use the led. She doesnt stand up as much. An hour after turning the CFLs on she stands at attention. The true wattage of these CFL grow lights are 52W a piece. I have quite a few but only use 2 atm.

I was told that your plants grow bigger under 24/0 over any other lighting schedule... did a lot of research and found nothing saying otherwise
