24 hour light to 12/12 then back to 24??

Can you spell photo-period stress?
You could likely induce selfing (hermies) in some. I wouldn't do that personally because as it is with out any sort of training 3 foot plants will grow to roughly (strain dependent of course) 6 to 7' before you're done.

Shorten your light down to 16/8, within a few weeks it'll show. I always use a schedule of 16/8, and within 5-7 weeks they sex. Longer light periods take the plant longer to show.

I wouldn't worry about hermies...if the plants gonna turn hermie..it will. I always stress my plants a bit just to stimulate any defects it may have. So far, I have never had a hermie, and always have strong healthy plants.

i have done this with no problems
but you can always just put a dark color , brown paper bag over one of the lower branches for a week or for 14 hrs a day , make sure the branch can breath

Good advice...forgot about that trick!!

and at that height you could just go into flowering
find out which one is female
then clone it
throw the clones back in to veg
then keep one of the clone as a mother

- 3ft plants,,,,and even if one was a female you will still end up a good amount of smoke + you have the clones that are 100% female to look forward too
