24 hours of dark?

im ready to trigger my plants, should i give them 24 hours of darkness before i change the light cycle and if i do leave them in dark for 12 hours do i give them any water during this time?

im growing in rockwool cubes se on slabs

I wouldn't give them that kind of darkness buddy, Could stress them too much. Stick with just switching the lights to 12\12.
